Chapter 1:
Sidebar Notes
1. The Piscean era explored and worked with the dynamics of the parent/child, higher/lower and masculine-energy-dominant relationships; these dynamics were expressed in both action and structure throughout all levels of form reality.
The Aquarian era into which we are moving emphasizes the concepts of balance, teamwork and partnership. These dynamics will be emphasized in the pattern and rhythm of all life behavior.
2. In the first edition of the Workbook, I called this process "co-creative energy gardening." Now, I feel "co-creative gardening" describes the process more accurately.
3. Nature intelligences (devas and nature spirits) have a joyful manner about them. They may make us smile, even laugh at times, but they do not engage in cruel jokes or dirty tricks. And they are scrupulously honest. It is not in their nature (pardon that pun) to be otherwise.
4. Devas: Creators of all form?s blueprints; universal in dynamic. Nature Spirits: Regional implementors of the blueprints.
5. Kinesiology: A simple form of muscle testing used in this instance to discern yes and no answers from nature intelligences. The method is discussed in Chapter 2 of the Workbook and described on this web site, see Kinesiology Testing.
6. If you?re feeling overwhelmed about all this communication business with nature, and you are feeling uneasy about whether or not you?ll know who to talk to and be able to "hear" all the answers to your questions, relax. This is just Chapter 1. By the end of the book, you?ll know just what to do to get your answers. Why, you?ll even know the questions!
7. Pan is actually a being without (or beyond) gender. I refer to him as "him" because his energy feels masculine to me during our communications. I don?t feel comfortable calling this good friend "it." So I say "him" or "he."
The same holds true with the other nature intelligences I work with. The key here is that in the act of communication, when I am listening, I am in the feminine mode of receiving. When nature is talking, it is in the masculine mode of sending or projecting out. The opposite is true if I am talking, and nature is listening. However, since I mostly listen, my predominant experience of nature is a masculine one even though nature intelligences are without (or beyond) gender.
