When I sat down to put this Health Watch together, I assumed because of the subject matter that the paper would be complex and long. After all, the subject matter is complex and dealing with cancer can be a lengthy process. I work with MAP teams and nature to set up these different Health Watch protocols, and our goal is to get the best possible combination of Perelandra processes to address the specific issues presented in the Health Watch series. In the past, when an issue has been serious or complex, the Health Watch has reflected this by being fairly lengthy and complex. This time, and much to my surprise, the Health Watch addressing cancer presents a relatively simple set of protocols. So I'm approaching the information in the same spirit simply.
The feeling I got while putting this information together was that of flexibility and speed. Instead of setting up and using the Perelandra processes in their most extensive formats, the processes in this Health Watch rely on the most simple formats. This way the processes can provide us with rapid, in-the-moment response to whatever is occurring in our bodies as we move through cancer and towards the tricky rebalancing process. Flexibility and speed are crucial for this and the focus with the Perelandra processes on simplicity provides that flexibility and speed.
THE HEALTH WATCH #14 CHART
This easy-reference chart shows you "the dance" at a glance. You'll see that as you move through the different treatment stages, there are slight changes in what you will be working with. The chart alerts you to the changes without requiring you to sift through a bunch of text to find those changes. Also, the chart shows you which processes and programs remain constant throughout the entire period you are addressing cancer.
The headings at the top of each column refer to a specific period or block of time.
Column 1, Discovery & Diagnosis: For the amount of time from
the discovery of a possible problem to the diagnosis and
confirmation of a problem, you will be working with the things
that are checked in column #1.
Column 2, Setting Up Treatment Protocols: For the time you need to
research, talk to doctors and put together the best combination
of treatments, you will be working with those things that are
checked in column #2.
Column 3, Office Visits: An office visit can occur during any of the
other column time frames. Maintain the rhythm for the day as
indicated by whatever other column you are working with and,
for the visit and checkup, add Emergency MAP and ETS Plus.
(Take a bottle of ETS Plus to the checkup with you.)
Column 4, Surgery: This column includes the time you are preparing
for surgery, the time you are in the hospital and the recovery
period after returning home.
Column 5, Chemotherapy: Column 5 covers the period of time you
are undergoing multiple rounds of chemotherapy. This could
be a period of several months.
The same with Columns 6 (Radiation) and 7 (Drug Therapy): Notice
that Columns 5, 6, and 7 have identical checks. This allows you
to keep the same rhythm even when you are working with these
different therapies simultaneously.
Column 8, Remission: This period includes the entire time you
are considered in remission.
Column 9, Recurrence: With a recurrence, you are referred back to
Column 1 and you will be moving through the columns again as
they apply to the cancer and treatment you are now experiencing.
Column 10, Living with Cancer: This term refers to the diagnosis
that your cancer is "incurable" and you will now be living
with cancer for the rest of your life. The new goal is to maintain a
strong balance in your body, mind and heart so that the cancer
that is now part of your system will remain under control and you
will experience a high quality of life.
To understand what the checks represent and what you are to do, be sure you read the rest of this paper. Don't just use the chart by itself.
THE MICROBIAL BALANCING SOLUTIONS
As soon as you suspect cancer or you are diagnosed with cancer, begin taking the Microbial Balancing Solutions checked under #1 Discovery and Diagnosis twice daily. These Solutions are natural, easy to take and require no learning curve. All you have to do is open each bottle and take the number of drops listed in big print on each label. Take them first thing in the morning and last thing in the evening. Add to the Solutions that are already checked in Column 1 any remaining unchecked Solutions that directly address your cancer. For example, if you have breast cancer, add Reproductive to your list. If you have lung cancer, add Respiratory. For colon cancer, add Digestive. For skin cancer, add Integumentary. For bone cancer, add Skeletal to the already checked list.
On the chart, note that the checked MBP Balancing Solutions remains the same for #1, #2 and #3. Then, when you get into specific treatments (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and drug therapy) the number of checks increase. During the period of time you are undergoing any of these therapies, you will be taking all fourteen MBP Balancing Solutions twice daily. This continues throughout your period of remission which could last for years. Should the cancer recur, refer back to Column 1 and switch back to just the Solutions checked in that column. Then move through the changes in the MBP Solutions as you move through the different treatment stages again and go into remission once more. Continue to move through the chart in this manner as often as you need that is, as often as your cancer reappears and you are no longer in remission or you are cured.
Should you be diagnosed as "incurable," you will now be living with cancer and focusing on control rather than cure. Take the MBP Balancing Solutions checked under #10 for the rest of your life.
The MBP Balancing Solutions strengthen and balance each of your body's systems and provides the foundation of new strength as the body battles to regain health. The Solutions checked in Column 10 for living with cancer provide the foundation your body needs for maintaining control.
ETS PLUS FOR HUMANS
Take ETS Plus three times daily throughout the entire time you are dealing with cancer, including remission and living with cancer. ETS Plus helps stabilize you as you deal with the extraordinary emotions and physical traumas that accompany cancer. This is especially important during the first three months or so after diagnosis when emotions are on a roller coaster and you deal with the shock of the initial impact cancer has on your mind, heart, life, family and friends.
But getting past this critical first three months doesn't mean physical trauma and emotional ups and downs suddenly disappear. There will still be times when you will be emotionally blind-sided. And then there is the considerable physical pain resulting from the cancer itself or any of the treatments. Every time you experience a specific trauma, whether physical, emotional or mental, take a dose of ETS Plus within twenty minutes after the trauma has occurred. This applies to cancer-related trauma and non-cancer related trauma (burns, cuts, shocking news, injuries . . . ) ETS Plus clears the damaging effects of trauma from the body. It is critical that our bodies be given the best chance to function during this important time. Allowing the effects of trauma to build up in the body is counterproductive when it's already working hard to conquer cancer.
Here are examples of times when we are hit with specific traumas: the emotional hit when we suspect cancer and make the first appointment, that first appointment, the moment we receive a diagnosis, and the strain of office visits and checkups. The body experiences direct trauma from the different cancer treatments so it is important to take a dose of ETS Plus right after receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy, right after taking any drugs, and as soon as possible after surgery. Take ETS Plus any time we experience pain or fear whether it is related to cancer or not, right after we tell our family or friends about the cancer, and right after we read an article or hear a cancer report that "clobbers" us emotionally . . . . and don't forget the everyday non-cancer related traumas: burns, cuts, accidents, etc.
So here's the bottom line for ETS Plus: Take it three times daily (10 drops) throughout the entire period you are dealing with cancer and take it any time you experience specific cancer- or non-cancer-related trauma.
Each dose of ETS Plus is 10 drops and, unlike the MBP Balancing Solutions that require you to take them first thing in the morning and last thing at night, you may take ETS Plus any time during the day or night. For best results, wait about 10 minutes after taking a dose of ETS Plus before eating or drinking something.
For serious specific trauma: Take ETS Plus three times within the first twenty minutes of serious trauma. For example, right after chemotherapy take a dose of ETS Plus. Wait five minutes and take another dose. Then wait another five minutes and take a third dose. Do this anytime you feel a trauma is severe enough to warrant the three doses. Play around with this a bit to determine when the three doses is more effective than just a single dose. You'll be able to judge this by how your body reacts to the trauma after taking ETS Plus. If you feel you're not completely out of the trauma symptoms, continue to take the remaining two doses. I recommend that you take the three-time dose after each therapy treatment. It's fair to assume that cancer therapies present a severe trauma to the body. You can't "over dose" with ETS Plus and it is all natural. Therefore, I recommend you err on the side of need and comfort when deciding how many doses to take for specific trauma.
THE BLOOD TYPE DIET
For years we have recommended the Blood Type Diet that has been developed by Dr. Peter D'Adamo as an important auxiliary health tool to the Perelandra programs. This diet provides us with a strong nutritional foundation for general balance and health. In Health Watch #14, you'll note that the Blood Type Diet is recommended throughout the entire time you are addressing cancer.
For this Health Watch, we recommend D'Adamo's Cancer: The Individualized Plan for Preventing and Treating Cancer. It includes
a diet tailored to your blood type that helps you manage, prevent or treat the symptoms. It also lists blood-type-specific protocols for targeted vitamins, supplements and herbs. Finally, the book includes a four-week plan for getting started. One thing that is nice about this book is that D'Adamo has included all the information about cancer from his other books in one, well-organized little volume, thus saving us from the headache of combing through his other books for the pertinent information.
So far, everything presented in this Health Watch the MBP Balancing Solutions, ETS Plus and the Blood Type Diet has no learning curve. You can start using them right away, and it is recommended that you do begin using each of these three tools as soon as you suspect you have cancer or have been diagnosed.
The next four health processes MAP, Emergency MAP, Perelandra Essences and MBP Phase 1 Testing have a learning curve. But they have been set up with the simplest formats for each process, thus requiring the easiest and quickest learning curve.
MAP
To work with MAP, you will need the book MAP (revised third edition) and a bottle of ETS Plus. Go through the initial scanning process as outlined in the book and make sure you say at the beginning of the scanning session that you have been diagnosed with cancer. The team that will come together for you will include members with expertise in the cancer you are dealing with. If you already work with MAP, your team will automatically adjust when you tell them you've been diagnosed with cancer. Proceed with your regular MAP sessions as described below.
Regular MAP Sessions: Plan to have two regular MAP sessions per week. (A regular MAP session takes 40 minutes.) During each session, tell your team about any treatments you received since the last session and your reactions (physical, mental or emotional) to those treatments. Be as precise with this information as possible. Don't just say, "Chemotherapy made me feel crappy." Rather, describe what you mean by "crappy." Also tell your team what treatment or checkups you have scheduled in the days ahead before your next MAP session. And talk to your team about test results, good or bad, and any changes you have felt in your body, good or bad. Include mental and emotional changes including your concerns and fears.
Be sure to include ETS Plus as outlined in the revised third edition of MAP during and after each session.
The twice weekly sessions are to be cancer focused. If you wish to address non-cancer related issues in MAP, you will need an additional MAP session that is focused solely on the non-cancer issue. Make sure you have no more than one non-cancer MAP session a week. Hint: Dealing with cancer is intense enough and requires a lot of attention and effort. I recommend that you place your non-cancer related issues on the back burner while you move through the cancer. You won't be helping the situation if you overload yourself with a bunch of non-cancer MAP sessions.
EMERGENCY MAP
An Emergency MAP session is extremely easy to open. Just follow the steps in the book MAP. Use Emergency MAP while undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and during any office visits. Open Emergency MAP just prior to leaving your home for the scheduled treatment or appointment. Leave Emergency MAP open during the full procedure and close the coning two to three hours after you return home. For surgery, this means that Emergency MAP will be open prior to your going to the hospital, during the surgery itself and throughout your entire stay in the hospital. Emergency MAP connects your MAP team to you during these critical times and allows your team to observe and assist the procedures as you go through them.
Once you are home and the Emergency MAP coning has been closed, resume the twice weekly schedule with regular MAP sessions.
PERELANDRA ESSENCES
The Perelandra Essences balance, stabilize and repair the body's electrical system. A fully functioning electrical system is especially critical when the body is fighting cancer. The mere fact that cancer is present in a body is the clear and undeniable indication that the body's electrical circuits are damaged, stressed and in need of repair. In order for white blood cells to move efficiently and effectively into a cancerous zone, the electrical system connected with that zone must be operating. White blood cells are necessary in order to wage an effective campaign against disease, and in this case, cancer. Balance, stabilize and repair the electrical system and the white blood cells will be drawn into the cancerous areas.
For establishing and maintaining a strong electrical system while moving through cancer, it is recommended that you test the Perelandra Essences one time daily throughout the entire period you are dealing with cancer. Not only will daily testing repair and balance the electrical system in the cancerous areas, it will also repair and balance the other parts of the system that might become damaged or stressed as a result of daily life. And by testing essences daily, you will be providing the flexibility and speedy response your body and electrical system needs during this critical time.
Testing essences daily means you will not need to test for dosage (number of days essences are needed). Whatever essences are needed for more than one day will show up again in the test the next day. This is the bonus of daily essence testing: You shorten the time it takes each day by eliminating the need for dosage testing. Trust me, once you work with the essences daily for a couple of weeks, your ability is going to improve dramatically and it will take you no time at all to do a daily test. So don't be discouraged if it takes a half hour to do a daily test in the beginning. Before long, a daily test will take you all of about five or ten minutes and you'll be feeling like a pro.
Because of the seriousness of the situation, I recommend you work with all five sets of Perelandra Essences. The Essences Guide giving you the basic testing steps you'll be using each day is included with the purchase of the Perelandra Essences. To test, you will need to know how to do kinesiology (muscle testing). Those instructions with photos are also included with your first essences purchase or are available online (Kinesiology: The Tool for Testing). In the video, The Human Electrical System and Flower Essences, I demonstrate how to do kinesiology. Many feel this is the easiest way to learn the kinesiology process. (You also learn a lot about essences from this video.) And we have a Question Hot Line that you may call if you need help or simply want to be talked through the steps. For more information on the Perelandra Essences, see the About Essences page on our web site or in our catalog.
MBP PHASE 1 TESTING
"MBP" stands for the Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program. Researchers are discovering that many cancers are caused by microbes (viruses, fungi, bacteria). Personally, I suspect all cancers have a microbial imbalance connected with them. MBP Phase 1 Testing is the easiest and fastest way to incorporate the Microbial Balancing Program into your cancer treatment regimen. It was originally developed as a simple training tool for the Program. Now it has been modified to address microbial imbalance and cancer with the flexibility and speed that's needed for rapid response.
Phase 1 is fully explained and outlined in the Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program Manual. To get an idea about the role microbes play in our bodies during health and during illness read chapters 1 and 2 in the Manual. For the supplies needed for the Program, read chapter 3. (The Program requires that you work with all five sets of Perelandra essences. So if you have purchased these sets for the daily essence testing described above, you already have the essences needed for the MBP.) If you don't already know how, you will need to learn kinesiology testing (muscle testing), and this is described in chapter 4. Chapter 5 explains the MBP chart and how to work with it and chapter 6 tells you how to do Phase 1 Testing. Finally, chapter 7 is the easy-reference chapter you'll want to use when working with Phase 1. Then, as far as using the Program as a cancer treatment, you can ignore the rest of the Manual. (Of course, once you experience what the Microbial Balancing Program can give, you may wish to expand your use of the Program. That's when you'll need to read those other chapters in the Manual.)
To use Phase 1 as a cancer treatment, write on the Subject line of the Program Phase 1 chart, "Phase 1: cancer treatment and related microbial balancing." This focuses the Phase 1 testing on the cancer from the perspective of your body's microbes and the microbial imbalances that are related to your cancer. Proceed with the Phase 1 chart and testing exactly as it is laid out in chapter 6. Once you become comfortable with Phase 1 testing, it will take you all of about fifteen minutes to complete a session.
Do an MBP Phase 1 test twice weekly throughout the entire period you are dealing with cancer. Once you have been declared "cured," you no longer need to continue testing MBP Phase 1 unless you want to continue just as a cautionary measure!
Most likely, while in the hospital for surgery, you will not be able to keep up your twice-weekly schedule for MBP Phase 1. Once you are back home and have closed your Emergency MAP coning, resume the twice weekly MBP Phase 1 Testing schedule.
ENERGY CLEANSING FOR YOUR ENVIRONMENT
You will notice on the Health Watch #14 chart that the environmental Energy Cleansing Process is recommended during the time you are in remission or during the period you are living with cancer. It is an especially effective tool for maintaining a balanced and supportive environment around you. The process releases any energy in your environment (home or office) that could compromise or stress your body's balance, thus causing cancer to recur or become out of control.
Plan to do the Energy Cleansing Process for your primary environments once every two weeks.
This process is described and its steps are included in both the Perelandra Garden Workbooks.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE HEALTHY BUT AT HIGH RISK FOR CANCER
By "high risk," I mean those with a family history of cancer and those who work or live in a carcinogenic environment. I happen to fall into the first category. Out of eight immediate members of my family, seven (including both my parents) died of cancer. To maintain as strong a quality of health as possible, I take all fourteen MBP Balancing Solutions daily and follow the Blood Type Diet. This gives me a strong overall health foundation. Then I work with MAP, the Perelandra Essences and the Microbial Balancing Program whatever program is needed whenever I come down with an illness (which over the past 35 years has been rare). And I use ETS Plus for accidents and injuries (which over the past 35 years have been frequent!).
If you fall into this high risk category, I suggest that you also include the fourteen MBP Balancing Solutions in your daily regimen (take them one time daily in the evenings) even before coming down with cancer. Then consider the Blood Type Diet and the other Perelandra programs for additional strength and balance.
FINAL WORD
All the Perelandra tools listed in this Health Watch may be successfully combined with other treatments. This is not an either/or situation for you. If you have been diagnosed with cancer, I don't need to tell you that this is a serious situation and you need to include all the treatments (alternative and conventional) that you feel provide a strong response to this serious situation. Here's a hint: The more Perelandra programs you include in your regimen, the more your other treatments will be enhanced. The Perelandra programs provide a unique support system for your body and for any efforts made on your body's behalf while going through the arduous task of re-establishing balance and health.
Important: I do not want to give you the impression that if you don't use all the Perelandra programs and tools I've listed in this Health Watch, you won't be able to work with any of them. This is not all or nothing for you. I suspect the majority of folks dealing with cancer will want to incorporate everything I've listed, and that's terrific. However, you may wish to consider the different processes I'm presenting and choose the ones that feel right for you to include in your health regimen. I encourage you to make the right decisions for yourself. Of course, the more you incorporate, the more benefits you'll receive from these Perelandra tools and programs!
Finally, the ideas, procedures and suggestions contained in this Health Watch are not intended as a substitute for consulting your physician. To successfully move through cancer and restore ourselves back to health, we need a multi-prong approach conventional and alternative.
