COLD VIRUSES
by Machaelle Wright
Perelandra, Center for Nature Research
Recently some potentially troubling reports have come out about cold viruses. Because of scientific improvements in microbial research, many more cold viruses are being identified. Researchers are verifying that it's not just one viral culprit out there causing colds. And not only are there more viruses hundreds of them actually scientists are discovering a link between certain cold viruses and asthma attacks in children.
These reports could make some of you wonder, 'What do we do about all these cold viruses floating around?' After all, we're coming into cold season. I want to keep you informed about these kinds of reports so that you'll know what you are dealing with out there. We all tend to do smarter things if we're more informed about them. But I also want to give you ideas on how to address these things with the Perelandra tools. It's easy to get overwhelmed when considering that you may be fending off hundreds of cold-producing viruses rather than just one "all-purpose" one. Actually, when using the Perelandra tools, dealing with this situation is simple. Rather than focus on the many viruses, we focus on the body and it's ability to effectively address and repel these viruses. So we give our body and its immune system what they need to do their jobs well.
NOTE: Cold viruses are not the same as seasonal flu viruses. The regimen I'm suggesting here is for colds only. Because of the nature of flu viruses, we are able to offer you a special Solution the Perelandra Seasonal Flu Balancing Solution for flu.
And just to be clear, the Seasonal Flu Balancing Solution will not effectively address cold viruses. In short, the two regimens are not interchangeable.
During cold season:
- Take the Immune and Lymphatic MBP Balancing Solutions twice daily in the A.M. and in the P.M.
- If you are prone to colds, have a respiratory condition, asthma, smoke or have a tendency to come down with mild respiratory problems: add Respiratory MBP Balancing Solution and take it twice daily during cold season.
(Take the above Solutions as soon as cold season starts don't wait for people around you to come down with a cold before starting these Solutions.)
- Should you come down with a cold: Continue taking the above MBP Balancing Solutions and, if you are using the Microbial Balancing Program, add this to your regimen. Either do a Phase 1 Test three or four times a week until you are through the cold and recuperation period or work with the regular MBP Troubleshooting Chart to address the viral situation more efficiently.
Additional suggestions:
- Wash your hands 5 or 6 times throughout the day during cold season.
- If you are prone to colds, I suggest that you continue taking the MBP Immune and Lymphatic Balancing Solutions throughout the entire year. In this situation, your body is telling you that it's immune system needs strengthening. When you are not in cold season, you would take the Solutions for continued strengthening and balancing just one time daily, in the P.M.
- If you have a respiratory condition or weakness, I suggest you continue taking Immune and Lymphatic plus Respiratory twice daily throughout the year, whether in cold season or not.
