Perelandra Health Watch 1
HRT (HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY)

by Machaelle Wright
Perelandra, Center for Nature Research

† † †

This past Wednesday (7/10/02) The Washington Post ran an article on the front page: "Hormone Treatment Is Called Harmful: Menopause Study Cites Health Risks" (by Susan Okie).

  • "A landmark scientific study has found that giving hormones to healthy menopausal women does more harm than good. . . .
  • " . . . The stunning findings from the federally funded Women's Health Initiate (WHI) released yesterday appear to dash the longstanding hope that taking the hormones estrogen and progestin after menopause would help women live healthier lives. . . .
  • " . . . the WHI's study of more than 16,000 women found that those pluses (reducing the frequency of hip fractures and of colon cancer) were outweighed by the increased risk of breast cancer, heart disease and circulatory disorders. . . ."

Approximately 14 million women in the United States are taking estrogen and progestin or HRT. This finding has raised serious concerns among these women about what to do now, in light of the new information. Here are some suggestions on how best to use the Perelandra tools if you are dealing with the fallout from this study's findings. (NOTE: All Perelandra tools may be safely used with any conventional medical treatment.)

I have broken the information into 3 areas, with Green, Maroon and Blue Level tools within each:

  1. For Assistance In Getting Off HRT
  2. Post-HRT: Menopause Assistance and Additional Stabilizing
  3. Pre-, Post- and Menopause Assistance for Healthy Women Not On HRT

† † †

1: FOR ASSISTANCE IN GETTING OFF HRT

GREEN LEVEL: (The Perelandra tools with no learning curve required.)

MBP Solutions: Take 2x daily (A.M. & P.M., as per directions in the brochure)

  • Immune
  • Lymphatic
  • Endocrine
  • Cardiovascular
  • Reproductive – Female

Eat Right 4 Your Type by Peter D'Adamo

Eat foods from the "highly beneficial" lists.

NOTE: If you would like to offer Perelandra help to other women who are not familiar with Perelandra or its products, just talk to them about what is listed on the Green Level. These are products that are all natural, safe to use, have no learning curve and can be used right away — and they are most effective.

MAROON LEVEL: (Tools with a gentle learning curve.)

MBP Solutions: Take 2x daily (A.M. & P.M., as per directions in the brochure)

  • Immune
  • Lymphatic
  • Endocrine
  • Cardiovascular
  • Reproductive – Female

Eat Right 4 Your Type by Peter D'Adamo

Eat foods from the "highly beneficial" lists.

MAP: Have a "coming off HRT" session every 2 weeks. Announce to your team that it is a "coming off HRT" session. They will work on the needed adjustments in this area of your health. At the same time, you will talk to them about any physical changes (positive and negative) you have noticed over the previous 2 weeks and the difficult symptoms that are continuing to occur longer than 2 weeks. Also describe your emotions. This would include your fears around the HRT study news, your fears about your health now and in the future regarding the effects of HRT, and any other stresses that are occurring as a result of the HRT situation.

Essences — Basic Testing: It would be best to do a daily basic test for the full five months you are coming off HRT and adjusting. If tested daily, you do not need to make a solution. However, if this is more than you can handle, do a basic test once a week and make a solution that can be taken daily for the next week. You'll need to make a new solution each week and test for how many times daily you are to take it. Once a new test with a new solution has been done, you do not need to continue taking the solution from the test that was done the previous week. Since this is a basic test and not a telegraph test, there is no specific focus needed for the testing.

BLUE LEVEL: (Refinement learning curve for veterans of the Perelandra programs and products.)

MBP Solutions: Take 2x daily (A.M. & P.M., as per directions in the brochure)

  • Immune
  • Lymphatic
  • Endocrine
  • Cardiovascular
  • Reproductive – Female

MAP: Have a "coming off HRT" session weekly. Use the same setup as listed on the Maroon Level.

Essences

Basic Testing: Do a basic test daily. You will not need to make a solution since the testing is daily.

Regular Telegraph Testing: For a regular telegraph test, focus the test on what essences are needed as you come off HRT. Plan to do this testing every 2 weeks. As you are coming off HRT, do a telegraph test for any symptom as soon as it occurs. If you need to take essences for a telegraph test more than one time, you will need to make a solution. Take that solution for however long the dosage testing calls for.

Essences Checklist Telegraph Testing: Using the Essences Telegraph Test Checklist, set up for testing with the following focus: "coming off HRT and repair." Then follow the Telegraph Test Checklist Process for each area that tests positive. You will also need to do an Essences Telegraph Test Checklist for each symptom as they occur. You may do the Essences Telegraph Test Checklist Process in lieu of regular telegraph testing. Plan to do this testing every 2 weeks.

Microbial Balancing Program — Telegraph Testing Process: Do this process using the MBP Telegraph Test Checklist and setting up the focus as follows: "coming off HRT and healing." Follow the MBP Telegraph Testing Process as described in the Perelandra Paper: "Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program — Telegraph Testing Process." Plan to do this testing once a month. (You may also use this process for any symptom that you are having difficulty getting under control. In this case, you will do the process as soon as the symptom occurs. The focus will be that symptom.)

2: POST-HRT: MENOPAUSE ASSISTANCE
AND ADDITIONAL STABILIZING

Work with these processes/tools for at least 6 months after completing the initial 5 months in section 1. If, after 6 months, you continue to experience post-HRT symptoms, continue using the tools as described in this section [section 2] until those symptoms are gone.

GREEN LEVEL: (The Perelandra tools with no learning curve required.)

MBP Solutions: Take 2x daily (A.M. & P.M., as per directions in the brochure)

  • Immune
  • Lymphatic
  • Nervous
  • Endocrine
  • Cardiovascular
  • Reproductive – Female

MAP: Have a "post-HRT: menopause assistance and additional stabilizing" session every 3 to 4 weeks. Announce to your team that this is a "post-HRT menopause assistance & additional stabilizing" session. They will work on the needed adjustments in this area of your health. At the same time, you will talk to them about any physical changes (positive and negative) you have noticed since the last session and the difficult symptoms that are continuing to occur. Also describe your emotions. This would include your fears about your health now and in the future regarding the effects of HRT, and any other stresses that are occurring as a result of the HRT situation.

Essences — Basic Testing: It would be best to do a daily basic test for the full 6 months you are working with the tools in section 2. If tested daily, you do not need to make a solution. However, if this is more than you can handle, do a basic test once every 3-4 weeks and make a solution that can be taken daily for that period of time. You'll need to make a new solution each time you test and you will need to test for how many times daily you are to take it. Once a new test with a new solution has been done, you do not need to continue taking the solution from the previous test that was done 3-4 weeks ago. Since this is a basic test and not a telegraph test, there is no specific focus needed for the testing.

Microbial Balancing Program — Phase 1 Testing: When setting up to do the simple Phase 1 testing in the MBP, you can "assign" a specific focus that will fine-tune Phase 1 results as they apply to that focus. For the post-HRT testing in section 2, you will focus Phase 1 as follows: "post-HRT: menopause assistance and additional stabilizing." Then proceed according to the regular Phase 1 instructions. Plan to do MBP Phase 1 testing for this focus weekly.

BLUE LEVEL: (Refinement learning curve for veterans of the Perelandra programs and products.)

What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause by John Lee, MD

What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause by John Lee, MD

MAP: For both premenopause and menopause, plan to have MAP sessions once a month. Announce to your team that this is either a "premenopause" or "menopause" session (whichever applies to you). They will work on the needed adjustments in this area of your health. At the same time, you will talk to them about any physical changes (positive and negative) you have noticed since the last session and any difficult symptoms that are continuing to occur. Also describe your emotions. This would include your fears about menopause and your health now and in the future, and any other stresses that are occurring as a result of moving into and through this stage. If those around you are surrounding you with menopause old-wives tales that you find bothersome, include your feelings about this as well. If you are having difficulty understanding what is happening to you and you find the changes frightening, you'll also want to talk about that. Consider your MAP team your personal menopause experts who are there to help you move gracefully and confidently through this stage. All you have to do is talk to them about what this experience is for you as it unfolds. If you begin to have menopause symptoms that are troublesome, ask your team if you should be meeting with them more than once a month. Also, ask your team if you need to use the tools for your menopause experience that are listed in the Maroon Level / section 2. Even though you have not taken HRT, you may need the additional support that is outlined in that section. For each of the testing focuses, however, you will continue to use the focuses as given in this section (section 3).

Essences — Basic Testing

  • For premenopause, plan to do a basic test monthly and make a solution if you need to take these essences more than one time.
  • For menopause, plan to do a basic test either daily or once a week. If tested daily, you do not need to make a solution. However, if this is more than you can handle, do a basic test once a week and make a solution that can be taken daily for that period of time. You'll need to make a new solution each time you test and you will need to test for how many times daily you are to take it. Once a new test with a new solution has been done, you do not need to continue taking the solution from the previous test that was done the week prior. If you are having an easy trip through menopause, plan to test essences monthly and make a solution if the essences are needed more than one time.

For section 3, you will focus Phase 1 as follows: "premenopause and menopause assistance for healthy women who have not used HRT." Then proceed according to the regular Phase 1 instructions. Plan to do MBP Phase 1 for this focus every 3-4 weeks.

BLUE LEVEL: (Refinement learning curve for veterans of the Perelandra programs and products.)

MBP Solutions: Take 2x daily (A.M. & P.M., as per directions in the brochure)

MAP: For both premenopause and menopause, plan to have MAP sessions once a month. Use the same setup and guidelines as listed on the Maroon Level / section 3.

Essences

Basic Testing: For both premenopause and menopause, use the same setup and guidelines as listed on the Maroon Level / section 3.

Regular Telegraph Testing: For a regular telegraph test, focus the test on what essences are needed for your premenopause or menopause changes and to stabilize your systems during this time of your life. Plan to test once a month as a regular checkup. Also, do a telegraph test for any symptom as soon as it occurs. If you need to take essences for any telegraph test more than one time, you will need to make a solution. Take that solution for however long the dosage testing calls for.

Essences Checklist Telegraph Testing: You will use the Essences Telegraph Test Checklist if your changes are bothersome to you. Set up for testing with the following focus that applies to you: "premenopause" or "menopause." Because of the nature of this Checklist, you do not need to get anymore descriptive than this. Then follow the Telegraph Test Checklist Process for each area that tests positive. However, if a symptom persists and becomes more acute, you will also need to do an Essences Telegraph Test Checklist for that symptom. The symptom is your focus. You may do the Essences Telegraph Test Checklist Process in lieu of regular telegraph testing. Plan to do this testing any time it is needed.

Microbial Balancing Program — Telegraph Testing Process: Do this process using the MBP Telegraph Test Checklist and set up the focus as follows: "premenopause" or "menopause." Follow the MBP Telegraph Testing Process as described in the Perelandra Paper: "Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program — Telegraph Testing Process." Plan to do MBP telegraph testing for this focus every 3-4 weeks.

You may also use this process for any symptom that you are having difficulty getting under control. In this case, you will do the process as soon as the symptom occurs. The focus will be that symptom.
