CURRENT SERIOUS MICROBIAL ISSUES

As you have probably figured out by now, I stay up with the news so that I can get an idea of what people are dealing with "out there." In this way, I can pass along information and, at the same time, give you ways for using Perelandra products to address situations that you and your loved ones might be facing. In the past week, a number of major articles and reports have been published that I felt were important enough to pass along to you.

The first three articles address the alarming rise in drug resistant staph infections (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA), especially in schools and among school athletes. Here's an excerpt from one of the articles from MSNBC:

Schools report spike in staph infections
"Schools across the country are reporting outbreaks of staph infections, particularly among athletes, and the germs include an antibiotic-resistant strain that is sometimes associated with serious skin problems and blood disorders.
"The infections have forced districts to call off classes, cancel sporting events and disinfect entire buildings. Several students have been hospitalized."

This second article is from the New York Times:
Schools in Several States Report Staph Infections, and Deaths Raise the Alarm
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/19/us/19staph.html

With the third article, we get important helpful information from the CDC:
CDC seeks to calm schools over "superbug"

Also during this past week, there were several important articles about children's cold remedies:

FDA panel: Don't use cold meds in kids under 6
Experts conclude OTC drugs don't help older kids either
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21376717/

Cold Remedies Are Unproven For Children, FDA Panel Says
Group Advises Against Use In Kids Younger Than Age 6
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/10/19/AR2007101900246.html?hpid=topnews

This is a good article from Reuters on that "stomach flu" that has been hitting a lot of people for the past year.
Old virus causing new disease in United States
Strain is becoming more dangerous and common, officials say

Lastly, here is a great article (the best I've seen in a long time), and a very timely article on microbes. For years now, I've been telling people that the Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program is exactly the tool that is needed for living with microbes in today's world and addressing infectious disease and illness effectively and responsibly. For the first time, I'm able to pass along an exceptional article from this week's Newsweek that verifies what I've been saying.
Caution: Killing Germs May Be Hazardous to Your Health
Our war on microbes has toughened them. Now, new science tells us we should embrace bacteria.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we are dealing with microbial issues unlike ever before. Here are my suggestions regarding the Perelandra products:

1. For young children prone to getting colds, it's time to introduce them to the Immune and Lymphatic MBP Solutions. If they are also prone to respiratory problems, include MBP Respiratory along with Immune and Lymphatic. I suggest they take these Solutions twice daily through the entire cold season. Dosage drops for children are included in the brochure that comes with the Solutions. Also, you may get this information from our web site.

2. For kids who might be exposed to MRSA, I suggest they take the Immune and Lymphatic MBP Balancing Solutions twice daily throughout the school/sports season and any other time they might be exposed.

3. In general, Immune and Lymphatic MBP Balancing Solutions really need to be "kicked into" everyone's health regimen now, and this includes children. The best way to deal with microbial problems is to maintain a strong immune system and avoid getting sick in the first place. I recommend we all take Immune and Lymphatic (you need both for full immune-system strengthening) once every day — throughout the entire year. And if you are prone to getting colds and flu, or prone to attracting any pathogen that might be floating around, I suggest you take Immune and Lymphatic twice daily.

4. Look at incorporating the Microbial Balancing Program into your health regimen. It addresses the full range of microbial issues and, like the title of the Newsweek article suggests, it is a Program that allows us to work together with our microbes. In short, we embrace our microbes. This Program may be used for adults, children and even infants. It is a natural approach and it is microbially responsible. Once you read the Newsweek article, you'll see it is time to consider a different approach to infectious health issues.
