OK. Today the WHO held an emergency meeting and raised the level to 6. Swine flu is officially a pandemic now. If you've been reading my Health Watches over the last three years, you know not to panic. If you have panicked after hearing this news, you've earned a penalty shot and you have to hit yourself in the head with a 2x4! Here's the latest from our dailykos.com friend DemFromCT. Although posted just before the official announcement this morning, I think it has the balanced, calm information you need now about what's really happening. I particularly like DemFromCT's advice to not be complacent.

My suggestions: Continue preparing. Plan for the possibility of some serious problems in the fall. Stock in extra food and the supplies you and your family will need should all hell break loose around you and/or someone in your family gets sick. The good news: This relatively mild first wave has given us time to get ready. If you have the Perelandra Pandemic Kits stuffed in a closet somewhere, now's the time to break them out, open them and start taking the necessary drops from each of the MBP Balancing Solutions twice daily. You will be building yourself up and preparing your body for the fall unknowns. (If you've already opened your Pandemic Kits and you've begun taking those Solutions you're fine. Just keep taking them.)

Also, continue taking (or start taking) FSBS+ twice daily and continue taking the current Seasonal Flu Solution
