SWINE FLU

I haven't forgotten about that H1N1 pandemic yet. I've been waiting to see how the spring shaped up and what WHO was saying before getting back to you about FSBS+. WHO is not declaring this pandemic over. They also are waiting — waiting to see what the H1N1 virus was going to do before declaring anything. Shortly, the pandemic wave will be "swinging" back to the Southern Hemisphere and WHO is concerned that the virus may take a troubling turn. Right now, even though the pandemic is relatively quiet around the world, it has been hitting Africa fairly hard. Physicians in the U.S. have reported that most of the people they see with flu symptoms have Swine flu and not the seasonal flu. And just recently there has been another troubling development: They have the first confirmed reports that the H1N1 virus has mutated in Mexico and a number of people have become infected with this new version of the virus.
So, what do you folks do about FSBS+ and do you continue taking it? Here are my suggestions:
- If you live in the Southern Hemisphere or Africa continue to take FSBS+ twice daily. Assume you are still in an active pandemic.
- If you live in a country or area where the pandemic has been very quiet for the past few weeks, you can back off the FSBS+ altogether. But keep your bottle(s). If you see that the pandemic is heating up again and setting up as a new wave, immediately start taking the two doses daily.
- If you have run out of FSBS+ and the pandemic has been quiet in your country/area, definitely don't purchase any more bottles. Save your money.
