It’s your Mighty QL Duo here — Beth and Jeannette. (We’re laughing at that name, Machaelle came up with it when we just couldn’t figure out what to call ourselves; ‘Question Line Gals’ was just too 1950s! But we digress.)

We have something new for you.

One thing we do often on the question line is help folks navigate the great sea of information available at Perelandra. We are always looking for ways to make this a little less overwhelming. Perelandra has so much to offer, so many possibilities for support in every area of your life. It’s hard to pick just one thing.

Here's what we're going to do: Occasionally, we will send an email about just one Perelandra product or process. We’ll explain what it is and how to use it. It’ll be a bite-size bit of information. Just one thing to think about. You can read it and decide if it’s something that would be helpful to you or to someone you know. We hope to make the Perelandra learning process more manageable and make it easier for you to bring just one thing at a time into your life. Just one. So when you see "One Bite" in the subject line, you’ll know it’s an introduction to just one really cool, really helpful thing from Perelandra.

We’re kicking this off with an MBP Solution that came up with unusual frequency in the questions submitted to Machaelle during her online Forum last weekend. Who knew?!

This week’s One Bite is: Perelandra MBP Integumentary System Balancing Solution

FIRST, WHAT ARE MBP BALANCING SOLUTIONS?
They're easy to use oral solutions. They are taken daily to support the balance and strength of your body's systems and their microbes, and give the body the ability to repair and protect itself. When a body system is strong and balanced, it can function properly and as it was designed, address any illness, condition or disease related to that system.

But the MBP Balancing Solutions aren't just strengthening and balancing each of these systems and their functions. They also strengthen and balance the many important and beneficial microbes that reside within and assist each system, as well as provide its protection.

We offer 13 different MBP Solutions, one for each major body system. A 2-oz. dropper bottle lasts one person 3-6 months. The number of drops to take for each Solution varies and will be listed on the outside of each bottle. There are easy-to- follow directions on how to use them for yourself, your children and companion animals in the MBP Solutions brochure.

Always begin by taking the Immune and Lymphatic Solutions daily — those two body systems provide an underlying foundation for health. Add to those two, any of the other MBP Solutions that address the body systems you want to strengthen, for example, Integumentary!

What the heck is Integumentary?

MBP INTEGUMENTARY SYSTEM BALANCING SOLUTION
Put simply, this Solution supports the balanced function of your skin, hair and nails.

It may be difficult to think of your Integumentary (Skin) System as a body system with key functions that coordinate with all of the other body systems, but it really is. It covers the entire body! Although we often refer to the short description (skin, hair and nails), it includes other important components; connective tissue, various glands, hair follicles, nerves and blood vessels. It has functions critical to our health.

The skin is the body’s largest and heaviest organ. It protects our body, cushions our organs and acts as the body’s first line of defense against infection and abrupt temperature changes. Other important jobs this system does for us:

  • Protects the body’s internal living tissues and organs
  • Protects against invasion by infectious organisms
  • Protects the body from dehydration
  • Helps excrete waste materials through perspiration
  • Acts as a receptor for touch, pressure, pain, heat, and cold
  • Protects the body against sunburns by secreting melanin
  • Generates vitamin D through exposure to ultraviolet light
  • Stores water, fat, glucose, and vitamin D
  • Provides formation of new cells from stratum germinativum to repair minor injuries

Why would you use the Integumentary Solution?
If you suffer from shingles, rosacea, psoriasis, inflammation or hives, scarring, excessively thinning hair, brittle or ridging nails, your skin is painful to touch, your sweat glands don’t function as they should, you’ve had skin cancer, you are often overexposed to the sun, or any other skin, hair or nail issues out there, your integumentary system could probably use a little support.

Look at that list of anatomical parts and functions again — there are some critical components there. Did you recognize anything on that list that needs a little extra shoring-up in your body?

For those who prefer the scientific terms, the list from our favorite Anatomy Coloring Book includes: Dermis, Arterym Connective tissue, Hair (shaft, follicle, papilla, arrector pili muscles, sebaceous gland), Lymphatic vessel, Nerve/receptor, Sweat gland, Vein, Epidermis, Phagocyte, Stratum basale, Stratum corneum, Stratum cranulosum, Stratum spinosum, Superficial fascia, and Nails.

If anything in the lists of individual components that make up the integumentary system just make you go "Huh?" — rest assured. You don’t have to know what an "arrector pili muscle" is or where exactly it's located in order to use this MBP Solution with great success.

A tip: When you have any injury or illness and your doctor starts naming parts of your body that you never heard of — take notes. When you get home, look at your notes and refer back to the anatomy lists for each MBP Solution. Those lists are included with the description on the product page for each Solution (or you can read them all in one place — the MBP Solutions Brochure online. Match your problem areas to the Solutions. That’s one way to choose which Solutions you need to support the parts of your body that are in trouble. If you know how to do PKTT (kinesiology), just focus on the issue and test the MBP Solutions list to determine which Solutions would be beneficial.

Don’t forget your furry, hoofed, scaled or feathered friends. Do you have a dog with heat spots or a skin allergy? This Solution would be helpful for them too! Here’s an encouraging excerpt from the Perelandra Voices article 'Furry Thank Yous' by M.S. in Santa Barbara, CA:

I gave a friend a set of the Solutions for her cat, Lucy, who is only five or six and had been getting thinner and thinner and sicker and sicker and finally very bald over some months. She was diagnosed with feline HIV, so there wasn't anything to lose if she tried the MBP Balancing Solutions. And now, about six months later, she has quite a lot of fur back and is again energetic and loving, though she still looks a bit like a Martian sort of cat. So thank you from Lucy and her person!

You can learn more about the MBP Balancing Solutions and how easy it is to use them here.

And you can read more of what folks like you have to say about using the MBP Solutions here.

Phew! That one bite turned out to be a mouthful! We don’t know about you, but we suddenly have a whole new respect for our Integumentary System.

With best wishes,
The Mighty QL Duo
