The Charlie Rose Science Series aired an episode on pandemics with an expert panel discussing the possibility of a global pandemic, including influenza, drug resistant tuberculosis, polio, and issues of worldwide preparedness.

It is an excellent update on the potential of a pandemic in our near future, how it's going to develop and what we need to do to prepare. It's very current in its information.

This is important for everyone to think about, particularly when it's possible that you're tired of thinking about a pandemic, or think the potential for a pandemic has disappeared.
