Microbix: This is a virology company that has experience with dealing with infectious agents in its day-to-day business. They have prepared a plan for dealing with an influenza pandemic that includes steps they gave to their employees to protect themselves and their immediate families during a pandemic. I think one of the keys to getting ourselves and our families through an H1N1 pandemic is to understand something about the virus and how it functions. I found Microbix to be "virus savvy" in ways that can be easily understood by the public. They have generously posted their information for anyone to use. The following links are to two of their web pages that I feel are particularly useful.
