Technical Difficulties

Dear Folks,
If you are experiencing technical difficulties with our web site or placing an order (a problem that is not cleared up with the suggestions given below), please don't hesitate to let us know. Although technical problems are surprisingly rare, a new web site is bound to go through a "teething period." If you can send us an email, please do so right away. Let us know what you have bumped up against and give us as complete a description as possible about the problem you are experiencing. We'll email back and let you know when to expect the problem to be eliminated. We have a whole platoon of terrific computer geeks standing by who are just dying to jump on a problem—any problem—and solve it. After all, this is the kind of thing that makes geeks happy. So, make their day. If you can't email us, give us a call on our toll-free order line and let us know what the problem is. In general, it's safe to bet that any problem will be fixed in a few hours and you may assume that you'll be able to revisit our site the next day.

Also, if you're relatively new when it comes to navigating around a web site and you would like some help, just give us a call and one of our staff will be glad to talk you through the problem.

Browser Settings & Preferences

  • To place Perelandra orders online, your browser must be set to accept cookies. You can change the cookie setting in your browser's 'Preferences' which is usually found in the 'Edit' menu. To learn more about cookies and how we use them, see Privacy Notices.

  • You may encounter a security warning when you visit a secure page at any web site if you use one of the following Web browsers:
        Netscape Communicator 4.05 or earlier
        Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 for Macintosh
    This warning is generated in error and is caused by a software problem in these browsers. The problem does not affect the security of your connection to our site.

  • If your browser is an older version that does not support security, you will not be able to purchase from Perelandra online. For your protection, our system will only process orders with browsers that support secure mode.

The latest versions of most browsers have security features and are free for downloading. Visit your browser's company website for details. Or, see below. We might just have the steps listed that you need for your computer.

Microsoft Explorer
Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom Level (button) > Cookies > Click on both Enable buttons (radio buttons).

AOL/Windows '98
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Security (tab) > Custom Level (button) > set cookies accordingly.

Netscape
Edit Menu > Preferences > Advanced > Click "Accept all Cookies" (radio button).
