– Machaelle
SLG = "soil-less garden"
MBP = "Microbial Balancing Program"
MBPs = "MBP Balancing Solutions"
Solutions = "MBP Balancing Solutions"
EoP = "Essence of Perelandra"
DDP = "definition, direction, purpose"
Mary Beth Steisslinger's Question: Dear Machaelle, information i have seen says that the Space Brothers are manifesting a bright star-like luminary in four locations around the world (so that is may be seen by humanity all over the world). It is said to herald the coming of a great teacher for all of humanity from the White Brotherhood. Have you seen this "Star" at Perelandra or in your travels? I have also heard that the Space Brothers help with cleaning the atmoshpere of nuclear radiation. Do they also help with clearing toxins from the dumping of sludge if asked... ie is this part of the work we are doing when we use the EoP or other essences and do a coning?
Machaelle's Answer: This is one helluva question to throw at me at the end of the day. You can't imagine how much I don't know about any of this. But more importantly, you can't imagine how much I don't care about any of this. I try and keep the information that I work with personally useful. If these things are important to you, you can open a coning and ask the White Brotherhood yourself. I haven't seen the above mentioned "star" at Perelandra, but what a great sunset we've been having. . . .
ET's Question: When I tune in to certain trees in my garden or to some of my specific houseplants, I feel a strong soul connection, as if I were communicating with the being or soul of that specific plant. What do you call this energy or essence that I'm feeling? Is it the nature spirit of that particular plant? It does not feel like it is a separate entity from the plant itself. It feels like it is as tied to that specific plant as my soul is to my own body in this lifetime.
Machaelle's Answer: For understanding what you're picking up on, I suggest that you read either Behaving as if the God in All Life Mattered or the Perelandra Garden Workbook. That should give you a clear idea of what you're sensing.
karen Dawnn's Question: Is this so rude to ask another question??? Just wondering your thoughts on the dangers of WI-FI????
Machaelle's Answer: I don't have any thoughts on Wi-Fi, so I'm going to have to beg off this question.
EG's Question: Thanks for the response to #17. It's reassuring to hear, all signs to the contrary, that we're not going to hell in a handbasket! And that our efforts, small as they seem, might be helping after all&
Machaelle's Answer: Terrific! Just don't forget to vote November 2nd!
Mary Ann's Question: Because we can't always eat organic food, what do you recommend to offset the effects of GMO's on our bodies? Does Digestive System Balancing Solution address any part of the effects?
Machaelle's Answer: You might want to look at the recommendations for testing the Solutions for yourself on this. But offhand, I would say Immune, Lymphatic, Digestive and Urinary would be effective. Don't underestimate that urinary system!
Linda Young's Question: LOVE your directness and sense of humor Machaelle!! :) Appreciate the response to take Solutions sOME time when we can remember if we can't do it at the perfect time rather than not at all!! Just what this Nervous Nellie literalist needed to hear!
Machaelle's Answer: Great! But don't abuse my answer. It's not an excuse for someone to become unnecessarily lazy or sloppy, just forgiving if you miss something.
Tulis McCall's Question: Question #2) - this may have been accidentally posted. I live across the street from a beautiful park. But people gather there with pitbulls that are mismanaged or encouraged to fight. Not my park or my animals. Is there anything I can do? Thanks
Machaelle's Answer: Wow, no accountin' for the dumb things people do to animals, right? Since it's not your park or your animals, there's nothing you can do except stay out of the park.
Trise Ruskay's Question: When you communicate with Universal Light, do you do it in a coning?
Machaelle's Answer: Absolutely. It's a difficult energy to translate from if it's done outside a coning. The coning gives support and clarity.
Shanimah's Question: Have you considered P flash cards? Especially with pictures of the flowers? Just looking at the pics of P Garden on the web seems healing & balancing.
Machaelle's Answer: When you need a fix of the Perelandra garden, we suggest the Garden Shots gallery on our web site.
tammy's Question: I'm a new feldenkrais practitioner. Before each session, I set up a coning with: OD of Feldenkrais Method, Pan, appropriate members of the WB for teaching Feldenkrais and my higher self. does this sound right? Or do I need to do it as a Prof. MAP coning?
Machaelle's Answer: Hey congratulations! I have a long-time friend who is a Feldenkrais teacher. How you set up the session depends on what you want to accomplish during the session. The 4-point coning that you mention will assist you to function with the Feldenkrais method as it exists now. And since you are new as a practitioner, I think this is a good way to go. It'll help you get your feet under you. Professional MAP will add to your Feldenkrais sessions new and different ideas that will expand your Feldenkrais experience as a teacher. I suggest waiting before you do this because it's going to be important to establish your foundation before you expand your role as a teacher.
Tulis McCall's Question: I am struggling with my home office. Cannot seem to get it together and get my yah yahs flowing. Also have other issues in terms of career/relationships etc. But this feels like the place where I can see the confusion. I have one SLG, my Umbrella garden with a lot of "departments" now instead of a bunch of gardens going on, and I have asked if the office needs its own garden - I get a negative. It feels like I have hit a wall - been over a year now. Just did a Calibration today because I see that I am emotionally down. Any suggestions for something ongoing like this?
Machaelle's Answer: Hey Tulis!
Here are my suggestions:
Infuse Essence of Perelandra into your soil-less garden every time you open the coning. And for each work-related action that you have scheduled for the day, support that action by infusing Essence of Perelandra. You don't even have to open your soil-less garden coning, just infuse it into that action. For example, if you're having a meeting, infuse it into the meeting. Just this should smooth things out for you. But because I know that you diligently work with all this, I'm also suggesting that you call the Question Hot Line so that you can talk it through and they can point out other areas where you can shore this up.
For yourself, plan to take Essence of Perelandra daily. That should stabilize you emotionally. But definitely call the Question Hot Line as well.
Susanna's Question: about Carolyn's questions, maybe you could answer it in a different format? Would be great to hear your input on the shift and all. There seems to be so much false information circulating, and it is always refreshing to hear from you on those matters, honest, and down to earth. Thank you so much !!
Machaelle's Answer: I agree with you about the false information, so I deal with that by ignoring it. I feel certain that if something is helpful at some point, I'll write about it. But as of right now, what's really important is that people take responsibility for themselves and their own lives and work to understand how to move forward in balance in all areas. For the sake of development, this particular focus is far more important than understanding an overall global, universal picture. The universal approach actually is not very helpful. It's the personal approach that's needed right now. As you balance the areas of your life, you'll find the answers to these kinds of questions will automatically be clear to you.
Callie 's Question: As a cancer survivor I have been taking MBP Solutions morning and evening. After reading some of the material here, do I also test and take them for specific problems as well?
Machaelle's Answer: For the whole cancer experience, including remission / surviving, I have a list of the Solutions needed. See Health Watch 14: Cancer Protocols.
peter c's Question: Just spent a *very* enjoyable 1/2 hour of Perelandra Open House time watching Prince Poppycock videos. Thanks for the tip!
Machaelle's Answer: FANTASTIC! What a great thing for me to read!
susanna's Question: Looks like the money system world wide is up for change. Do you and the cottage team see any shifts toward bringing in a system similar to the infinite accounts at the cottage ? I know some people who are working on ideas in that direction.
Machaelle's Answer: The Cottage system has nothing to do with some overall global structure. It has to do with personal understanding of one's individual self-worth.
Shanimah's Question: I took my dog, Alex (4yrs), to test for his AKC CGC. I gave him EoP beforehand. As I recall, he tested neg. for ETS for Animals. He failed 1 test of letting the examiner play with his front paws so did not pass. Suggestions for next time? Tx.
Machaelle's Answer: When you give an animal (or a person) Essence of Perelandra, it is to stabilize and strengthen their balance. It does not mean that the animal (or person) is going to automatically do what you want them to do. In this case, you have to consider the possibility that Alex, when he is balanced and strengthened, clearly does not want some goonball screwin' around with his paws.
Martin K.'s Question: Hello Again, Any suggestions how to quit smoking — or any other addictions? (Do they smoke on the Cottage level? — they enjoy a glass of Bubbly now and then I read) How best to support oneself while still addicted?
Machaelle's Answer: I'm suggesting that death thing again. But don't take it personally. I just think it may be the answer to all your problems. (To anyone who thinks I'm insulting this person, Martin is a long-time Perelandra customer and I think he spends weeks prior to any forum thinking about the most annoying questions he can ask me just so I can insult the hell out of him. But I'm only kidding. I don't want him to die because he may show up on my doorstep at The Cottage with yet another annoying question! ;-) As for your question. MAP can help a person quit smoking, and Essence of Perelandra can support someone while they're still addicted.
Dori 's Question: I have had a low grade systemic bacterial infection or parasite for months now, causing urinary & digestive discomfort. It does not show up on blood tests, my alternative Dr. figured it out. I am 95% better, responding to golden-seal and colloidal silver. I want to boot it on out! Any suggestions? Thanks Dori (again!)
Machaelle's Answer: I suggest Health Watch 5B: Infectious Disease.
Betty's Question: My daughter recently graduated from college and is working as a waitress while she looks for a job in her field. She is extremely sensitive and picks up other people's energy. This presents many problems for her. She takes EoP before work. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
Machaelle's Answer: Tell her to take a dose of ETS Plus for Humans whenever she's picking up on others' energy. It might help if she carried ETS Plus in her pocket at all times.
karen Dawnn's Question: hi again Machaelle, i forgot to ask. can i adress my molar problem, a bladder infection and tinnitus all at the same time and with what?
Machaelle's Answer: You need to address them each separately, but you can address them simultaneously.
E's Question: I need to clarify my question (23.) regarding ETS+ versus FE after MAP: when I do a session in bed at night I sometimes just do a FE test after closing the coning because it is faster than staying awake for another 15 minutes (I fall asleep right away) to take the required three doses of ETS+. If that is alright, is it just a basic essence test or a telegraph test for the session?
Machaelle's Answer: Just do a basic essence test.
Anonymous Question: Since my two daughters are born I am dealing with a lot of stress, anger and frustration. What is the best essence formula for me? Also how I can recognize that there is a positive result with MAP program? I feel very exhausted after a MAP coning and in the same time very exhausted. I don't feel very talkative during my sessions.
Machaelle's Answer: You know, I hate to say this, but it sounds like you are dealing with motherhood. So many young mothers say the things you're saying. Here are my suggestions.
1. Use ETS Plus for Humans liberally — any time you feel especially stressed.
2. Take the following MBP Solutions twice daily:
        * Immune System Balancing Solution
        * Lymphatic System Balancing Solution
        * Digestive System Balancing Solution
        * Endocrine System Balancing Solution
        * Nervous System Balancing Solution
        * Respiratory System Balancing Solution
3. In your next MAP session, tell your MAP team that you're exhausted all the time and that every time you have a MAP session until further notice that's what they are to focus on during the session so that you don't have to say it each time. Also tell them that the MAP session itself is exhausting you.
karen Dawnn's Question: Hello Machaelle, is there a way to tell if a MAP session worked to cure my molar pain by healing the pulp or by just releasing the pain and now perhaps my tooth is just dead? my dentist is trying ozone next week and he is trying to help it but is not sure if it is dead or healing?
Machaelle's Answer: Here's the key question — Do you have pain? If you don't have pain, probably your MAP session worked. You're going to have to test to find out precisely how it worked. If you're out of pain, you might postpone the ozone treatment and see where it's leading you. Don't make the decision now, just see where it's leading you. You could also ask your MAP team whether to have the ozone treatment (and whether to have it now or later).
Dori 's Question: We want to bring our cat family of 7 together. Four cats have issues with each other, stalking, top cat etc. & have to be kept separated. Our desire is for a loving family. Is there any hope? Animal coning has been suggested, not sure whether to use Rose Ess. or Ess. of Perelandra for this. Any other ideas? Dori in Phoenix
Machaelle's Answer: Start with Essence of Perelandra. You may have to consider that to achieve your goal of a "loving family" that some cats in your gaggle of cats may need to be given to other families for the sake of everyone's happiness. So the key here is to do the right thing for the cats.
Anonymous Question: Hi Machaelle, I am trying to MAP program since January 2010 and have very interesting experiences with energy. I am still not sure about the essences. The first time I visually saw rose, beautiful rose. I am from Bulgaria and Bulgarian Rose is a symbol of the country. I am not sure if I need this essence or this was given to me as symbol. I can say that kinesiology is still not clear to me. I feel so strong the energy around me, that I don't have time to test myself.
Machaelle's Answer: I would take it that the Bulgarian Rose is your MAP team symbol. As for kinesiology, the best thing for learning how to test and becoming proficient is to practice, practice, practice! Thanks for joining the forum today.
Mary Jane Heinrichs's Question: Thank you. I did mean MBPs and I'll add the Nervous and Respiratory to my regime. I'll add the MBP suggestion also. Question Two: Can you take more of the Lymphatic if you have some drainage issues in that area. I have been taking the recommended amount each evening for the past year and feel much better. My massage therapist thought that jogging might also help drain the lymph nodes.
Machaelle's Answer: You can expand your dosage by taking the morning dose as well. But always also take Immune. So you'd be taking Immune and Lymphatic twice a day for this issue.
Josette Prevost's Question: What process and/or MBP, essences, etc& can I use to best protect myself while/after my landlord fumigates and/or uses orange oil against termites in my rental unit?
Machaelle's Answer: Josette you're in luck! I happen to have a Health Watch for that. See Health Watch 7: Chemical Exposure. If you have questions after reading it, call the Question Hot Line.
jane dare's Question: re: question 19 Machaelle, you are so damn funny!
Machaelle's Answer: Aw, thanks. I'll be appearing at "The Comedy Club" every Thursday for the next 6 months. Come throw tomatoes with the rest of the crowd. ;-)
Linda Young's Question: Last post....Promise!! Suggestions for anxiety...of a sort that never lets down the guard? ie vigilance or feeling the need for it...affects the diastolic blood pressure. How to lower that???? Thanks a MILLION!
Machaelle's Answer: Oh brother, Linda. I think this is something that you really need to take to MAP. If you don't already know how to start MAP, call the Question Hot Line on Wednesday and they'll help you. Another suggestion is to follow the Stress Health Watch.
Linda Young's Question: Loved your response to nervous Nellie about getting the process right...much appreciated from another NN!!
Machaelle's Answer: I think it's important that all the NN's of the world unite! I feel your pain. Glad I could help!
Diane's Question: Second guessing myself-- I worked with MAP for over a year and started second guessing myself. Did I understand my identifier/password right? When I test for a Y or N am I reading the result correctly or influencing the result? I will say that when I had 3 months of dental work done, Nature was a huge help, but I'm not confident in my ability to perceive and interpret? Any suggestions?
Machaelle's Answer: Unfortunately the only way through this dilemma is to keep testing. Decide that you are not going to second-guess anymore. Whatever the answer is, that is the answer. Period. End of story. Then look at the results. The only way to gain confidence is to see the results. You can't get confidence by thinking about it. Another way of saying this is that you lose confidence if you over-think the results.
vb's Question: Thank you so much, Machaelle! You are terrific and so is Jeannette.
Machaelle's Answer: You're very welcome. We're glad we can help!
Barbara 's Question: Recently had back injury and worked with MAP team. It was too painful and exhausting to test for individual essences so I just took ETS figuring it covered all the essences. Is that true and can we use ETS instead of testing for individual essences?
Machaelle's Answer: The ETS Plus is not a super-sized essence solution and does not replace individual essences. However, when you find it difficult to test essences, taking ETS Plus 2 for 3 times a day, and Essence of Perelandra twice a day should support you well while you heal to the point where you can start your essences testing again. Also, you can have Emergency MAP open during longer challenging times in your recovery to help you with things like pain and exhaustion.
Mary Trentham's Question: I went through a period of using all of the ETS solutions for many situations and still consider them to be very valuable. However, I still have a few "go to" garden essences. Tomato is one that I love. Have you ever considered doing a super sized vat of that, or any other single essence that is popular?
Machaelle's Answer: No, because what essence is popular for one person is not necessarily popular for everyone else. Everybody has their individual Top 10 list as far as essences are concerned.
Jane Dare's Question: ok, so you come out of a MAP session and something "new" is hurting, or some emotional crap comes up, do you go right back into another session?
Machaelle's Answer: Take the recommended doses of ETS Plus for Humans first. Whatever came up should settle out for you. If you still have questions, you can just reopen the MAP coning and ask if you need to come back in or if you can wait until the next MAP session to address what's going on. It may be important to actually process through something in real time, even if you don't feel great while you're doing it.
Dee Calley's Question: Just a heartfelt thanks for all that you have given over the years. You have certainly been a valued part of my life. Thanks for the advice on my cascading left side.
Machaelle's Answer: Okay Dee — just the visual "cascading left side" was interesting! Glad to have been able to help.
Gale's Question: Machaelle, what MBP products would you suggest for Vertigo? Thanks-you!
Machaelle's Answer: Oh good — I just finished writing the steps for this. Let me refer you back to the steps for this in Question #39.
Jane Dare's Question: What age do kids have to start opening their MAP by themselves?
Machaelle's Answer: There isn't a specific age for this. I'll refer you to pages 157 to 158 of the third edition of MAP for a full explanation of how to approach this and make a decision that best suits your child.
Louise's Question: I appreciate all your techniques (MAP, MBP), but just can't understand what is the difference between them and just praying for help.
Machaelle's Answer: Oh Louise, you don't have to pray for this help. I'll just go ahead and answer your question! With MAP, you're addressing your personal health and balance. With the Microbial Balancing Program, you're addressing the health and balance of microbes either in your body, an animal or an environment. If you're still having difficulty, give them a call on the Question Hot Line this Wednesday and they'll be happy to clarify.
Terry's Question: 2nd try! What do you suggest for restoring focus & tenacity in my worklife (31 yrs self-employed) after 5+ yrs of trauma/disruption/hormone hell? I'm healthy, happy, grateful, garden's fantastic, and friends love my help for THEM, but am easily discouraged in my own pursuits, new venture.
Machaelle's Answer: Okay Terry, I think you resubmitted your question before I had a chance to answer your first one, so check out question #25 for your answer. I congratulate you on you diligence!
Lori Renn Parker's Question: Re #13 @ 12:54 -- Thank you, thank you, Machaelle! I just skimmed Gut Gardening and feel a new joy surging where before there was dull overwhelm. My testing fingers are going to get a workout, but they're up to it . . . The bulbs (and I) thank you!
Machaelle's Answer: Fantastic! Glad I was able to help.
Tammy B's Question: I travel extensively for work; usually in different cities each day with flights in between: 1) Some nights I will literally have 5-6 hours between when I get to hotel and have to leave in the morning. On those nights I do not wait 15 minutes to take my Solutions as I usually get in the door and in bed in about 15 minutes total. Is it better to skip the Solutions if I can't wait the proper amount of time or take them at a diff time of day? 2) Is there a way to carry fewer bottles?
Machaelle's Answer:
1. Take them the best you can. Although you may not be getting the full benefit, it's better to have some benefit. And someone with your travel schedule needs all the help they can get!
2. If you're asking me if you can combine several Solutions in one bottle, the answer is no. But you can get smaller bottles (1/2-oz.) with the MBP Starter Kit. And here's a tip: Watch for our October Special that will be announced this Monday, Oct. 4.
pam's Question: What process is best for helping my cats and dog get along?
Machaelle's Answer: You could start with the Essence of Perelandra, giving your dog and cats each a dose daily. If you want to take it further, try the Nature Healing Coning for Animals. Quite frankly, if you just apply patience and wait, they generally work it out on their own. If nothing else, they'll just learn to avoid one another.
jo thompson's Question: I wanted to say thank you Machaelle for your help 2 weeks ago with my daughter...also wanted to say thank you to the wonderful kind generous Perelandra person that read our discussion and sent hana the essences that she needed to start...there are angels among us...angels on yer,jo
Machaelle's Answer: I'd also like to thank our wonderful "anonymous" person for generously helping out with Hana. In short, you really rock you Anonymous Person, you!
Margaret's Question: What are the best essences for my Shih Tzu who is 12 years and has eye problems (redness in his eyes) and the vet says that he also has a cataract in one eye.
Machaelle's Answer: First off, I recommend that you work with the Nature Healing Coning for Animals. For your dog's eye problems, you'll need to test the essences using kinesiology to find out what's needed. If you are new, here's where you'll find the instruction for kinesiology.
mary sage's Question: I have been diagnosed with bone spurs of both of my feet/ankles. I am thinking of the MBP Solutions - Skeletal and Muscular - anything else? Thanks!
Machaelle's Answer: Mary, here are the steps that you can use to find these answers out for this issue and any other issues that may crop up.

When working with MBP Solutions, always start with Immune and Lymphatic. That's your base. Then think about your symptoms and ask yourself the question, "What Solutions do I need for this condition besides Immune and Lymphatic?" and then do a kinesiology test just like you would with essences. Whichever Solutions test positive are the ones you would take for that condition. And any time you're dealing with a specific issue be sure you take them twice a day. If you have an MBP Starter Kit, which includes all of the Solutions, kinesiology test from that Kit as you would flower essences asking the question, "Do I need ___?" for each of the bottles. If you don't have a Starter Kit, just test the MBP Solution list. You're not testing daily. Once you know which Solutions to take for that issue, you take them until the condition clears up. If you don't know how to test, you start with Immune and Lymphatic and then think about what systems in the body are involved in your symptoms (the names of the MBP Solutions give you each system of the body), and add each of those bottles to Immune and Lymphatic. Now you have what you should be taking.
Josette Prevost's Question: Dear Machaelle, In an effort to restore my tap water to it's optimum state before I drink it, I have been putting it in a blue bottle, exposed it to the sun for a few hours, and wrote "love & appreciation" on the said bottle. (following Masaru Emoto's research and O'oponopono' technique) As a nature expert, how do you suggest helping the 'transformed water' retain it's improved 'quality' from the 'treatment'? And is it affected by putting it in the fridge, dark cupboard, etc&? Thanks a million for your extraordinary dedication and invaluable work! Josette Prévost
Machaelle's Answer: As your friendly neighborhood "nature expert" I'd have to say I haven't a clue how to answer your questions. But I know who really is an expert on this and you can ask them. That would be nature! For setting up and asking questions, see Workbook I. Hope this helps!
Fern's Question: I'm really working with focus at the moment, because sometimes when I'm doing a SLG or MAP calibration process my mind wanders. How important is it to stay focused on the issue? Have I screwed it up completely if I start thinking about supper?! Many thanks, and please have mercy on someone who is envious of and really battling to even begin to approach the focus you have!
Machaelle's Answer: Aw Fern, you not only have my mercy, you have my encouragement. Go into your sessions with the idea that you're going to relax. It's okay to let your mind wander. But there's a difference between wandering through another issue and focusing on another issue. So allow yourself to just wander around if that's what you do, but don't lock your focus on something else. Trust me, if your mental wandering is screwing anything up, your MAP team will just "hit you over the head" and put you to sleep. They do it all the time.
Mark's Question: Hi Machaelle. Thanks for having another Q & A forum , I have a few questions 1. what is the best way to avoid a false positive when muscle testing? I seem to have a problem removing my intentions / thoughts on specific questions asked in a coning ?. 2. When I do an energy cleanse I seem to have great difficulty in visualization are there any tips you can give me? 3. Can you give pets the whole range of essences or are there some limitations? 4. Is that Honey I saw at the base of the Genesa crystal . Are you boosting the purity /energy of the the honey? Thanks Mark.
Machaelle's Answer: Hey Mark, glad you joined us!
1. Removing personal intentions and thoughts out of specific questions is part of the learning curve when talking about kinesiology testing. If you are working with MAP, you can ask your team for help with this. Personally, when I recognize that I have an agenda that might skew the question and/or answer, I back away from the question and don't ask it. 2. When doing an Energy Cleansing, a lot of people can't visualize that sheet or any of the other things that I suggest. Back away from trying to visualize anything and simply state the words in each step, giving enough time for the step to complete and trust that what is being stated is actually happening. You don't have to visualize it, or visualize it perfectly, for this to occur. The important thing is to do the Energy Cleansing Process and not back away because you have difficulty visualizing. 3. Okay Mark, you can give your pets the whole range of essences, but I wouldn't do it all at the same time cos they're going to get drunk! In the book, Flower Essences there are steps for how to test animals for essences. 4. Those are jars of essence tinctures going through the last step of the tincture production process. It's the final stabilizing step.
Lisa's Question: Machaelle, In "Mt. Shasta" I was alarmed to find Stalin representing leaders. At least Hitler wasn't there! Can you give brief insight?
Machaelle's Answer: I was pretty surprised myself. It was the possibilities of this particular person in that position that were taken into consideration, not how he screwed it. And after death, he did the work necessary that allowed him to be considered for this mission. Stalin is the only one that didn't have trouble functioning at Mt. Shasta and knew what to do. I didn't have to train him on anything. I guess what this says to us is that when we hate our despots and mass murderers, we may have to take into consideration that they can do a turn-around. Personally, I was pretty glad Hitler wasn't included as well. That would have been awkward!
Phil 's Question: To condense a long story, we are fighting proposed drilling for natural gas that uses a very toxic process, injecting hundreds of chemicals into the ground. This is near farm land that we want to develop/lease for organic crops or livestock. Likely big oil will win out (but we are hopeful). The track record for these drillers is bad, contaminated water, air, dead livestock. Bottom line - if we use the P processes is it possible we can protect our land? Nearest well now is about 1 mile, but a neighbor could lease next door.
Machaelle's Answer: First I would set up a soil-less garden for dealing with the proposed drilling, and the proposed method of drilling to see if you could stop or alter the plan.
Set up a second soil-less garden for developing and locating your organic crop and livestock business. To be honest, this is such a toxic situation, nature may be pointing you in a completely different direction and may tell you to get out of harm's way and locate your business in a different spot.
Third, educate yourself on the serious ramifications of this natural gas process and write a paper that you could hand to your neighbors and to any potential neighbors, so that they understand precisely what they're dealing with and they can make an informed decision and they too can get out of harm's way. You don't have to mention Perelandra or working with nature directly in your paper (you don't want to scare these people!). Just give them the information on the gas drilling so that they understand what they're dealing with. We have had to deal with toxic land-applied sludge by educating the neighbors. It's very helpful and it works. (It also annoys the pro-toxic-sludge people which in-and-of itself is worth it!)
Mary Sage's Question: Hi Machaelle, Just wanted you to know how effective your Animal Coning for wild animals has been = Paper #8. On 2 occasions, feral cats living in my yard were in decline and when I did a coning, they very quickly rallied. In one case, only one coning was done and the cat is much improved and healthy ever since.. The other case needed more conings but then recovered. Such a blessing! Thanks for a great Paper - has it been updated? Mine is dated 1993!
Machaelle's Answer: I'm really grateful to see that you're making good use of this paper. (No, it hasn't been updated.)
Kathy's Question: is it ok to move during a MAP session? and to rest and then keep talking? newbie
Machaelle's Answer: If you're just shifting positions, it's fine to do that kind of movement. If you need to go to the bathroom or get up to walk around the room, tell your team so they can stop what they're doing. Then take a break, don't make it more than 5 or 10 minutes. Let them know when you're back and ready to resume. Then start talking again.
Margaret 's Question: What combination of MBP would you use for chronic hepatitis C in some one who recently had a liver transplant? The Hep C is back and already doing damage due to the immune suppressing drugs he is on.
Machaelle's Answer: Oh boy, this is a tough one! Try these MBP Balancing Solutions: Immune, Lymphatic, Cell, Digestive, Endocrine, Nervous and Urinary.
Plus Essence of Perelandra to establish the overall balance and strength that this fellow needs.
Also, he could consider starting MAP and looking at the guidelines in Health Watch 5B: Infectious Diseases.
carolyn salmon's Question: ref book shadows/moon. Are you still traveling between dimensions? Can you comment on the new energies coming to earth now and the shift? Impact on your work?
Machaelle's Answer: Really? You want me to answer these questions in 50 words or less? Wow! I've been doing the shift to The Cottage for 28 years now and yes I'm still continuing. As you might imagine, the answers to your other questions can't be answered easily in this forum. These kinds of questions just can't be answered well in this format.
Sandra B's Question: I muscle test frequently for many issues. On occasion, I can tell that the results are weird or erratic. A knowledgeable friend noted that being dehydrated can throw off the results. Are you aware of any other issues that can throw off muscle testing? Is this a candidate for a calibration session? Many thanks!
Machaelle's Answer: Your friend is not only knowledgeable but correct! As soon as you feel the weirdness and erratic testing, back off and drink some water. The other things that can throw you off is being overly tired. If you're not overly tired and you've had a drink of water, then go ahead and calibrate your testing before resuming and then resume your testing.
E's Question: I will be heading for the Chinese capital next Fall for a 6 month residency. I am concerned about the pollution there and am wondering the best way to prepare. As the new Seasonal Solution won't be out before I leave and I won't be able to have it sent to me I am planning to take along 8oz bottles of the Immune, Lymphatic and Respiratory MBPs as well as ETS+ and EoP. With that I think I should be well equipped. Do you have any other suggestions?
Machaelle's Answer: You're absolutely spot-on about the Immune, Lymphatic, Respiratory, ETS Plus and EoP. Here's a 'pat on the back' for good thinking!
As for seasonal flu, you could plan to take an 8-oz. bottle of this present Seasonal Solution with you and continue taking it through the time you're in China. The 2010-2011 Seasonal Balancing Solution lays the foundation for the 2011-2012 season, which is why I recommend it be taken throughout the year.
Because avian flu is still an issue in Asia, I would recommend you take a bottle of FSBS+ with you as well.
You're going on quite an adventure. I wish you a lot of fun and excitement on it!
Dawn's Question: In your books you talk about manifesting material things (you created manure from the void). It is possible to demanifest things like hazardous waste? If so, how would one go about it?
Machaelle's Answer: The manifesting information I provided related to lessons I needed in order to understand what form and reality are and how they operate. It was not for the purpose of magically making manure appear for no other reason than to make it appear, or save a buck.
What's most important for us humans is to work with nature, in partnership, to address hazardous waste in balance. Demanifesting it will not teach us anything. So if one is interested in dealing with hazardous waste, I recommend setting up a soil-less garden. Then we can not only learn how to deal with the waste, but also learn how to not make the waste. It's a "two-fer"! I'm really hoping people will start to work with nature to begin addressing the hazardous waste problems (Hint! Hint!).
Sunny's Question: It feels like my electrical system in my body is down. I feel a lot of numbness in my senses and in my first chakra, even when I'm around people/things I love. Instead of feeling joy and excitement I just feel numb. Any suggestions? Thx!
Machaelle's Answer: The same thing as with Terry below, I suggest the Health Watch protocol on Stress. Also, you can use Essence of Perelandra for an initial, quick start to rebalancing the electrical system. And you can work with the essences which are designed to repair and restore balance to an electrical system.
Terry's Question: Been lacking focus & tenacity in business after 30+ years; this isn't so in the garden or with others' needs. Survived years of disaster & hormone hell but economy is a bear. Starting a new venture but easily discouraged. What would you suggest?
Machaelle's Answer: Try looking at these two Health Watches. I think they can help you out here.
        Health Watch 8: Stress
        Health Watch 15: Economic Crisis
You might also need to work with MAP for depression. (The Stress Health Watch may also help with the depression and getting through these difficult times.) And setting up a soil-less garden for your new venture could ease the start-up pain.
Martin K.'s Question: Thank you! Your reply to question 6 had me laughing on the floor again! I won't try your suggestion just now — my girlfriend might get upset. Any tips how to improve live vitality and balance in drinking and shower water using the Perelandra products on our end here, avoiding death? :-)
Machaelle's Answer: Sorry, I don't have any suggestions other than focusing on the balance of your home environment. You can work with Perelandra Garden Workbook II and the Perelandra Microbial Balancing Program.
E's Question: Usually I use ETS Plus before and after MAP as suggested in the book, but sometimes I run out of time afterwards and just test myself for flower essences. Is it alright to mix the stabilizers like that? I asked my team and they seem to be OK with it. Is the FE test before/after MAP just a basic test or do I follow it with a telegraph testing for the session specifically? Thank you.
Machaelle's Answer: If you take the ETS Plus properly, it will take you far less time than doing an essences test and the ETS Plus will be more effective at that particular point. You don't have to sit in one place in order to take the ETS Plus. Just close down the MAP coning, take the first dose of ETS Plus while you're getting ready to do whatever it is you're needing to do, then take the ETS Plus with you so that you can take the next two doses.
Lindsay's Question: I have been using the essences for my garden, my pets and of course myself...everything seems to be happy and in balance...thank you all for your gift to the world. Crazy question, but what do you do with the points accumulated in the orders?
Machaelle's Answer: Thank you for your kind words! Here's an explanation on those points: Buy 40, Get Five Free
You'll receive 1 point for every 2-oz. MBP Balancing Solution you purchase. Your accumulated total is noted on the invoice enclosed in your package. When you reach 40 points, you're entitled to 5 free 2-oz. MBP Balancing Solutions with your next order.
Greg's Question: I find it difficult to take the essences at night (I take all of them) there any problem with taking them in the morning when I wake up. The nervous one especially was keeping me awake at night. Thanks :)
Machaelle's Answer: If you're only going to take them once a day, nighttime is the preferred time. However, if it's a choice between not taking them and taking them one time a day in the morning, choose to take them one time a day in the morning.
E's Question: I have used MAP, the MBP (as well as the Solutions) and FE successfully in dealing with various issues, which has been encouraging. My sense is that some issues take longer than others depending on one's history. I have been trying for over two years now to get rid of varicose veins without much success so far; in fact I think they're getting worse even though I try not to sit for extended periods and exercise regularly. Do you have any suggestions?
Machaelle's Answer: Sometimes to move through a condition successfully and in a balanced way, we do need to be patient. And although 2 years seems like a good amount of time to get over this particular condition (varicose veins), you simply may need to give it more time. You never know if the varicose veins are connected to a deeper, more difficult problem that's being worked on simultaneously. Ask your MAP team directly if there's anything they want you to add to your regimen. Whatever pops up in your mind immediately after you ask the question, say "Do you want me to add this _____?" and test to see if that's it. If you get a negative, then tell your MAP team you're going to give them 24 hours to get that information through to you. Then pay attention to any insight that can come from any direction. In your next MAP session, verify that this is the thing that they'd like you to kick into place. Also, it's not unusual for a condition to worsen before it gets better. It's kind of like the condition's last hoorah. Other than these suggestions, I think you're approaching this very well.
Mary Anderson's Question: I set up a coning 3 days ago and can't remember if I disconnected it. Not only that, I can't remember exactly which coning it was! Is there a one-stop method for clearing the slate and starting over?
Machaelle's Answer: Hey Mary from Canada! Haven't heard from you in a while. Good to hear from you. Sounds like you need to take Immune, Lymphatic and Nervous to shore up your memory a bit here! . . . or go on a nice vacation!
Ask the question, "Do I still have a coning open?" and do a kinesiology test. If you get a "yes," just list one at a time the conings that could be open and find out which one is open. Say, "Is it this coning _____ (name)?" and go down the list. Once you know which one it is, you know which one to close and can then go through the regular closing steps.
Jane Schwartz's Question: Was wanting to ask how best to connect quickly to your SLG team when a phone call or some such related comes along and there is no time to create a coning....
Machaelle's Answer: Just ask the person calling to hold for a second and say to yourself or aloud, "I need the ______ (insert project name) soil-less garden coning to be activated for this call." Ask that the coning be activated, wait 10 seconds and then go back to the phone call. But don't forget, in normal situations you open your soil-less garden coning as directed in the Soil-less Garden Companion steps.
Lindsy's Question: Do you think you will ever write again about what you - at the cottage - are all up to each day - or night? I'm hoping for some fresh perspective on how our country is behaving, and how we can best get through it - and even help improve things. It's hard to see much possibility for improvement (from here) at the moment. Thanks.
Machaelle's Answer: From the way you've worded your question, I can't tell if you've read the book I wrote on these topics, The Mount Shasta Mission. It gives specifics for those who wish to participate in moving their governments and communities forward. Trust me, the day-to-day schedule that I have at The Cottage isn't going to help you with this, unless you want to coordinate when you eat, bathe or go to the bathroom with my timing. Trust me again — this coordination isn't going to help you at all. I can tell you that from the perspective of The Cottage, despite the fact that everything looks like it's going to hell-in-a-handbasket for us, we here on Planet Earth are assured that we are moving forward. I have to take them on their word because sometimes I don't see it either. So I just keep pluggin' along.
Ah, one thing I can say to our American friends right now if you want to help improve things — is to VOTE on November 2nd. I can't tell you how much The Cottage wishes people would get off their duffs and actually participate in the system that's already been set up for them. So if you want to help improve things, be sure you vote on November 2nd!
Betty Parker's Question: My 14 year old, 18 lb. Westie has a slight heart murmur and respiratory fibrosis. The vet has him on enalapril. I have him on MBPs — cardiovascular, respiratory, immune and lymphatic. Should I be doing anything else? Thank you.
Machaelle's Answer: The only other thing I would add to this is to have the ETS Plus for Animals on hand and give it to him whenever he has an episode. I also recommend the Nature Healing Coning for Animals.
mary Jane Heinrichs's Question: 3rd try. the window closed before I could submit the question. How can increase your sense of smell and taste with the MBP?
Machaelle's Answer: It helps to type your question separately (like on Notepad or Textedit) and then paste it into the forum submission box. Thanks for hanging in there and getting your question in. You get a gold star for patience!
If your use of "MBP" means the actual Microbial Balancing Program, all you have to do is put, "increase my sense of smell and taste" on the focus line of the chart. And whatever you need to do will come up on the chart as you test.
If you meant "MBP" to refer to the Microbial Balancing Solutions, I think you might have some good success with the following: Digestive, Immune, Lymphatic, Nervous, Respiratory and Urinary.
Jane Schwartz's Question: Is there anything extra in the Perelandra processes that nature wants us to do to assist plants in particular adjust to the rapid changes in climate etc? Working with food plants currently..
Machaelle's Answer: A healthy, balanced plant automatically adjusts to rapid changes in climate. So really your focus simply should be to help your plants be strong and balanced. For that you're going to need to work with nature. You can choose working as a Gut Gardener, or work directly with nature using the Perelandra Garden Workbooks.
Lori Renn Parker's Question: Although I've done MAP/MBS for months/years, I'm just halfway through GW-1 (couldn't garden for 6 yrs bec. of back injury) -- and now there are bulbs from my daughter's band fundraiser sitting in the foyer ready to be planted! Do I just wing it?
Machaelle's Answer: Do a modified "winging." Set yourself up for planting these bulbs as a Gut Gardener. That way you'll be working with nature and the winging part is following your gut. Good luck — I have a feeling you'll have some fun with this!
Lori's Question: What do you recommend for PTSD (Post traumatic stress)
Machaelle's Answer: The first thing you should have on hand is ETS Plus for humans, and take a dose as soon as you feel symptoms coming on. Take the 3 to 4 doses as instructed as soon as you feel any of the symptoms activating or occurring.
I recommend MAP for assistance with the healing process. And if you have a MAP team, then you can open Emergency MAP while you're taking your ETS Plus.
I suggest putting these two things in place and if after several months you find you need more support for the healing process, call us on the Question Hot Line and talk to us about what the remaining symptoms are and what the best next step might be.
Kristy's Question: Thank you Machaelle, I truly enjoy all the information I have used over the years, and love working with my MAP team.
Machaelle's Answer: Glad to hear it!
Dee Calley's Question: Yesterday at ER with a periodic condition that cascades down my left side with little warning. It causes a descending weakness. May be seizure or migraine related. Have worked with MAP and essences for many years. Any support products you would recommend.
Machaelle's Answer: When the condition starts to occur, take ETS Plus for Humans right away and immediately open Emergency MAP. All you have to say to them is, "going down," or "cascading." This might pull you out of the cascading.
Because this is an ongoing situation, I recommend adding the following MBP Solutions: Immune, Lymphatic, Cardiovascular, Digestive, Endocrine, Nervous and Urinary. The fact that this is an ongoing condition suggests that in general there are certain systems in your body that need to be strengthened, and these are the Solutions that I think will probably help you the most.
Also, continue working regularly with MAP and essences.
Brenda Ball's Question: I have read everything that you've published and I still find it all a bit confusing and I worry, probably overmuch, that I might screw up a process. Is nature relatively forgiving of the procedural faux pas of the striving beginner?
Machaelle's Answer: Oh Brenda, nature has a special place in its heart for striving beginners who really want to do the processes correctly but may periodically screw it. Whenever you make a mistake, just test while you're in the process and see if you need to repeat a step. If you get a "yes" just go ahead and repeat it. If you get a "no" then nature has covered your butt — because nature really loves people like you! If I'm an example of anything, you're really going to have your butt covered! Nature just has a lot of kindness.
Mary Jane Pagan's Question: What do you recommend for GERD? Digestive + Nervous system make sense? best to the TEAM
Machaelle's Answer: Add the Immune and Lymphatic Solutions along with Digestive and Nervous and you've got your set that will be helpful for GERD.
Kristy's Question: Do you believe that the power in shapes (pyramids) can intensify an elixir? I am reading from the book "Gem Elixirs and Vibrational Healing" by Gurudas, are you familiar with the author and his ideas?
Machaelle's Answer: Yes, there is power in shapes. Beyond that, I don't know much about gem elixers. And I'm not the right person to be answering your questions on this. Again, it would be wise to ask nature directly for this information.
Martin K.'s Question: Hello Machaelle, In Dancing you describe the amazing water that comes out your shower in the Cottage. Is there a nature process we can use to make our shower water amazing like that too? Thank you! (No brown-nosing this time — you made me laugh with your comment last time :-))
Machaelle's Answer: The nature process you need to get involved in here Martin is death. Once you successfully go through that process, then you can wander around looking for that amazing water. ;-)
Kristy Kessick's Question: Hi Machaelle, My question is about the amount of brandy that is used in your essences, I am starting a gem elixir business and wanted to know what you would recommend as to how much alcohol we should use to preserve the energies of the elixirs?
Machaelle's Answer: I have no idea. I don't work with gem elixers. This is something that is best decided by asking nature how much alcohol (and what kind) you need to preserve your elixers.
Susan's Question: What is the difference (use) in ETS Plus brandy vs. vinegar? (newbie, no clue here.)
Machaelle's Answer: These are the two preservatives that nature recommended we use for our bottled products. There's no difference between how they function. They're equal preservatives. After that, you just make a choice between vinegar or brandy. (Most folks prefer the brandy preservative.)
pat ward's Question: what should I do next to deepen partnership with Nature in yard/flower garden? Started late season using "gut gardening" in weed choked area. Use EoP, ETS for Plants and Soil. Difficult to know if I'm doing all I should and where to go next. Garden is lovely now.
Machaelle's Answer: If you want to deepen your partnership, I recommend Perelandra Garden Workbooks I and II. That takes you to the next step.
Almut Brandl's Question: Dear Machaelle, how can Nature help my Partner on Death Row to live and be FREE, because he did not do what he was sentenced for? And how can Nature help to improve the inhumane conditions they live in? I am not allowed to send Essences. THANKS Almut
Machaelle's Answer: Do you know about setting up a soil-less garden? The best way to do this is to set up a soil-less garden project where the garden is how you can best help your partner and the conditions he lives in. I suggest that you call the Question Hot Line on how to set that up so that you set it up well.
Tammy's Question: How are the MAP and MBP programs different and as a newbie, which would you recommend beginning with? Thank you!
Machaelle's Answer: It depends on what you're working with. If you've got a persistent, infectious disease then you want the Microbial Balancing Program. But the one most new people start with is MAP. It's simpler, and a nice introduction to the Perelandra work.
