Perelandra Solutions and Vaccinations

A message from Machaelle Wright

Over the course of this pandemic, customers have asked us the following:

"I've been taking the Perelandra Essences and Solutions for many years and they've always worked for me. Why is Machaelle recommending we get fully vaccinated and boosted? Why wouldn't the Perelandra Solutions protect me?"

To answer, allow me to take you back to 1491, before colonists started arriving from Europe, when what we now call North, Central and South America were the home of large, vibrant indigenous populations. At that time, it is estimated that between 50 million and 80 million indigenous people lived in the Americas. By comparison, the entire population in England at that time was just under three million. By 1491, indigenous populations had lived in this hemisphere for at least 15,000 years. They had urban centers with a population of 300,000 or more. At that time, Paris had a population of 200,000. The indigenous civilizations had sophisticated systems of governments that ran on the rule of law, a respect for their developing sciences, as well as accomplishments in astronomy and mathematics. They had developed the most accurate calendar in the world. Their long-established practice of agriculture included the domestication of maize, a development that required thousands of years of selective breeding.

As a population, these people were also healthy. They lived active lives and had diets that supported their health and well-being. They had a sophisticated health care system that centered around natural and herbal medicine. The fact that they had inhabited their land for so many generations showed that their body immunity had adapted well to their environment and the different range of variables that might challenge their health.

Enter the European colonizers starting around 1492. With them came brand new infectious diseases, such as smallpox, typhus, influenza, diphtheria and measles, for which the native population lacked immunity. Contact with these diseases, especially smallpox with its very high mortality rate, killed 50 to 67 percent of the indigenous population in North America in the first 100 years after the arrival of the Europeans. Ninety percent of the native population near the Massachusetts Bay Colony died of smallpox in 1617 – 1619. The smallpox epidemic spread throughout the east coast and then into the plains and west as the native populations came into contact with the Europeans. Entire groups were wiped out bringing devastation and drastic population depletion. In 1796, Edward Jenner developed the first vaccine against a contagious disease. It was the smallpox vaccine. And in 1832, the U.S. federal government established a successful smallpox vaccination program for our native population.

So let's focus back on the current vaccines and the Perelandra Solutions. Why were they developed and what do they address?

The COVID-19 vaccines have been developed to address a new infectious virus that the human body has not previously experienced, and therefore, it has no foundation or framework for dealing with that infection. On its own the immune system has not had time to develop what is needed to detect, identify and process this new virus out of the body. The vaccine gives the body and its immune system the tools for building the foundation, thus protecting the body. One can say that by having a vaccination, we bring in an "outside visiting professor" who is there to help us build that foundation and train the body's systems to address some previously unseen challenge.

The Perelandra Solutions focus on the body and its systems as they address the already experienced variables and challenges within its surrounding and familiar environment. The Solutions provide the strength and balance that allows the body and its systems to repair and function at their highest level.

The COVID vaccine and the Perelandra Solutions have each been developed with different focuses and goals. One educates and provides the body what it needs to address the new while the other provides the strength and balance the body needs for optimal function within its familiar environment. They do not bleed into one another's territory. But the good news is that the vaccine and the Perelandra Solutions work well together in their distinctively different and supportive roles. Consequently, as the developer of the Perelandra Solutions, I urge you to benefit from the full package when addressing COVID-19 and get the recommended vaccinations.

To your health,
Machaelle
