To all who joined us for the EoP Biodiversity Process.

First of all, thank you for participating in the EoP Biodiversity Process. And now I say to you: Congratulations!

Our first EoP release was a success and you helped make it happen. Not only did you provide stabilizing strength to your personal biosphere but in doing so, you have provided a network of stabilizing strength around the world for plants and animals to draw from as they struggle to survive the devastating effects of the climate crisis. Together we have brought Perelandra “to the table” when it comes to actively helping to address climate change damage and destruction. That’s no small thing.

As long as the climate change crisis is occurring, we will need to shift EoP monthly to provide a counterweight. So I hope you’ll join us again on August 1 (and every month after that).

In the meantime, talk to your friends, family and neighbors who might like to join in on the first of next month. Help them set up with a copy of the steps, a sketch of their biosphere and a small bottle of EoP. The more participants, the wider and broader the EoP Biodiversity network, and the deeper its impact in your personal biosphere as well as globally.

With best wishes to you,

Multiplying the Power of the Individual

Why are we not reducing our emissions? Why are they in fact still increasing? Are we knowingly causing a mass extinction? Are we evil? No, of course not. People keep doing what they do because the vast majority doesn't have a clue about the actual consequences of our everyday life, and they don't know that rapid change is required. ~ Greta Thunberg, FridaysForFuture

Here's an interesting idea: How about allowing nature — the intelligence inherent in that nature — to join us in equal partnership to give us the input we need to make new decisions and live in new ways that have a strong, positive impact on our lives and our health, as well as the planet? ~ Machaelle Wright, Celebrating the Power of the Individual

One million species may be pushed to extinction in the next few years.

In early May, the U.N. released a 40-page summary of a forthcoming 1500-page global assessment of our planet's ecosystem and dwindling biodiversity. A National Geographicarticle summed it up well:

"The bonds that hold nature together may be at risk of unraveling from deforestation, overfishing, development and other human activities . . . one million species may be pushed to extinction in the next few years, with serious consequences for human beings as well as the rest of life on Earth. . . . Nature is in trouble. Therefore we are in trouble. . . .

"In order to safeguard a healthy planet, society needs to shift from a sole focus on chasing economic growth, the summary report concludes. That won’t be easy, the report acknowledges. But it could get easier if countries begin to base their economies on an understanding that nature is the foundation for development. Shifting to nature-based planning can help provide a better quality of life with far less impact."   [One Million Species at Risk of Extinction, National Geographic]

One million species may be pushed to extinction in the next few years. One million species. Machaelle thought about what Perelandra could add to address this unimaginable devastation of wildlife and biodiversity on a broader scale. And how could Perelandra reach out and work in concert with you — the people using these tools?

A brilliant idea was born. There is a way to expand our individual environmental work on our homes and lands. We can work together to release nature's strength and stability that will counter the damaging momentum of plant and wildlife extinction.

Let's Team Up with EoP

Beginning July 1st, and continuing on the first day of every month, we will ask you to join us in doing one small but hugely impactful thing to support plant and wildlife diversity. To do this, we will need to work with Essence of Perelandra (EoP), using the steps given below. It will take less than five minutes of your time, once a month.

On the same day, we will all shift EoP to our respective "little" environment with a focus on strengthening and supporting its plant and wildlife biodiversity.

Machaelle has been reminding us for many years to "Celebrate the Power of the Individual," to not underestimate the impact we can each have on the bigger picture by making changes in our own life, by working with nature in our own home, our own garden. With this new EoP protocol, we are multiplying the power of the individual. By doing the EoP protocol on a rhythmic basis, once a month on the 1st of every month, we are creating a coordinated release of nature's balance that will provide the strength and stability that is unique to Perelandra. This will, in turn, help slow down the momentum of the biodiversity damage and deterioration, and its resulting plant and wildlife extinction.

Doing this all together on the same day is a more powerful action than we may ever understand. This is an opportunity to participate in one simple, coordinated action that allows you and your little corner of this world to contribute to the whole of our environment on the planet.

Picture one small co-creative garden on the planet's surface. See it as a window into the interior of the planet, into its soul. As the gardener works to align this garden to the new dynamics, watch the window open and the energy contained within the core of the planet gently gravitate to and release through the window. . . . I fully understand that I am aligning deep planetary change and universal movement with the actions of one gardener tending one small garden. That is precisely what I mean to do. ~ Pan on Planet Earth from The Perelandra Garden Workbook by Machaelle Wright

EoP Focus on Biodiversity

Essence of Perelandra (EoP) strengthens and stabilizes an environment by providing the singular and powerful balance of the Perelandra garden. With EoP, Machaelle and nature gave each of us the ability to extend that powerful balance beyond the Perelandra biosphere to our own homes and environment. It's no small thing.

Now we encourage you to join us by doing this monthly process for land you own, land you rent, land you are responsible for maintaining. It can be used if you just have a patio, balcony, deck, backyard, patch of ground, anywhere outside the home. The part of your home environment that is outdoors supports biodiversity.

Update to Biodiversity Process

Update: Machaelle and nature have expanded the process for those who have no other environmental option except for your room, apartment, etc. Learn More

Important: Focus on your own biosphere. Don't intrude on your neighbor or your neighboring community or another country. Let's stick to what's in front of us, and what is in our direct care.

truth Do this process monthly, on the first day of every month.
(Hint: Make it a recurring event on your calendar with reminders.)

For this, you will need Essence of Perelandra (EoP), a clean spoon and about 5 minutes.

1. Focus your attention on your environment and state: "I wish to set up with nature to shift Essence of Perelandra to my personal environment to provide the strength and support needed to counter and reverse climate change stress and the resulting loss and extinction of its biodiversity." Wait 10 seconds.
(If you have more than one property, see additional instructions here.)

2. Describe your land succinctly. Say it aloud. (For instance, you can use your home address, focus on a sketch of your land/yard/balcony, garden, pond, forest or farm, or use a copy of your plat. Keep a copy of your description so that you can easily refer to it each month.)

3. Place 10 drops of Essence of Perelandra in a clean spoon. Hold the spoon out in front of you and say, "I wish to shift these Essence of Perelandra drops to the location I've described to provide the strength and support needed for reversing the impact of climate change and the resulting loss and extinction of its biodiversity." Continue to hold the spoon out in front of you for 10 seconds. The shift occurs automatically.

4. After 10 seconds, the shift is complete and you are finished. (Nature did the shift for you, so you might want to give a tip of the hat to nature and thank it before moving on with the rest your day!)

5. Wipe the spoon clean and you're done — until the first day of the next month!
