Response and Relief Efforts

The people of Ukraine will continue to be in need of tangible support and assistance, as will their companion animals and wildlife.

This Today Show article will connect you to organizations that were either already working in the region or have quickly sprung into action with humanitarian aid.

5 Verified Charities Working to Help Ukranians

Many of those groups have been providing much needed help to others around the world who are reeling from devastating environmental disasters and conflict. Whatever you contribute can make a difference in their ongoing work.



If you want to do two things at one time — support the Ukrainian relief efforts by planting sunflower seeds for the wildlife and environment, and for Ukraine. It is their state flower and some seed companies have a campaign going to donate sunflower seed sales to the Red Cross and other relief organizations.
