About The Crisis ETS Service
We were talking about what we could offer to customers who call to let us know they are in the midst of an emergency, and cannot afford to purchase a bottle of ETS because there are other bottles they also need to buy for their emergency. Machaelle said that someone going through a critical time should never be put in the position of having to chose not to get ETS. If ever there was a time for ETS, that's it. Then Machaelle — the queen of radical, pioneer thinking around here! — said something so simple and perfect: Why don't we give a free 1/2-oz. bottle of ETS to anyone in crisis who needs it but can't afford to get it?
Once it sank in, it made total sense. If you are struggling through a health, family or economic crisis and you're stuck at the idea of putting out money for ETS at the same time, call us and ask for a bottle of Crisis ETS, or add it to your online order.
When you request a Crisis ETS bottle along with your order for other essential bottles, the free 1/2-oz. bottle of ETS for Humans is included without any extra shipping charge.
If you aren't ordering anything else, we will ask that you cover some of the cost of shipping: $4 for U.S. shipments and $11 for international.
Our purpose is to make sure that as many of you who need ETS during crucial crisis situations have it. When you need it, just let us know.

For those helping friends in crisis, when buying 2-oz. or 8-oz. ETS for Humans for yourself, please give the free bottle that will come along with it (aka: the "shitty times" policy) to your friend rather than using this Crisis ETS Service. This will allow us to help as many folks as possible.
To help you understand how we define a "crisis" situation, and what is clearly not a crisis.
If you are hospitalized, have an accident, are hit by a disaster like your house burning to the ground and struggling against financial ruin, you need ETS help. And that's why we're offering this service. If your whole family is involved in this type of crisis, call us and we'll work with you to get what you need during the emergency.
If you are a member of a discussion, study or meditation group and you think it would be nice to give everyone in the group a bottle of ETS, or if you like having extra bottles of ETS around to hand out to people — please forego this Service and purchase your ETS at the regular price. This way you will be helping us sustain our ability to offer the Crisis ETS Service.
The Crisis ETS Service was not set up as a distribution program. Don't request Crisis ETS bottles for this purpose. If you are in a unique situation, or part of an organization that is distributing ETS to those in crisis, please contact us for options.
We think highly of you, our customers, and we trust that by understanding our intent, you will respect the spirit of this offer. Take us up on it when you need it. When you don't need it, buy your ETS at regular price as usual.

International shipping for 1 bottle of Crisis ETS will be $12 (adjusted after purchase).
